I have thought about my first boyfriend and at times wished we where together still. But I am glad I have the husband I have.

If you had to complete an honesty test for a potential employer and one of the questions read "Have you ever knowingly stolen any item from an employer"? Its a tough one because you remember this time when you were working as a cashier in a grocery store and you and another cashier would eat pieces of fruit that did not meet quality requirements of store policy.
What would you say?
Yes?
Check no and rationalize that the fruit consumption was an employee benefit?
Reconsider working for a company that asks those types of questions?
Other?

We do our best to responsible pet-parents. We have two cats, both male. Buddy is about a year old and fixed – Max is still a kitten and has just reached 6 months, so his appointment is next week to get fixed himself. I know that kittens can get fixed younger now, but our vet still goes by the six month rule. Buddy is a dark grey and black striped short hair, and average size. Max is a Maine-Coon mix so he is about the same size as Buddy already. They are both sweet and cuddly; the most well behaved cats I’ve ever seen – until this morning. As I was getting ready for work I heard this horrendous howling, usually Buddy will yowl when he wants to get into a room, but this was different. I go out into the living room and there is a vicious standoff going on, and a bright orange cat standing on the back porch. Max was attacking Buddy, when Buddy has always been dominant. I figure that the orange cat was in heat and Buddy was not affected – he seemed to have no idea why he was being attacked. Now here’s the problem: how do we keep our home under control for the next week and a half? We live on the third floor and our kitties are strictly indoor only – so them going outside is not the issue. We just want to keep Max from attacking Buddy over a girl he can’t get to, and hopefully keep him from starting to “spray” as well. Max is locked in our bedroom at the moment, but it’s not really an option for more than a few hours, nor is keeping them separated for the week- there aren’t enough rooms. Please help!

Presumeably this is happening because there is too much pressure in the system. I'm new to this house so I do not know if it happened last year. I turned on the based board heat on Friday. It starting letting water out on Sunday about 7am. I turned the heat off, but it did not stop the leak. Can you help?

I know she want to come out because she presses her head against the door and pushes digging at the ground. If she had roller skates on she'd be all over! What do I do? Is this a passing phase? I know it's intinctual to scratch and dig but will she always do this? Anything I can do to prevent it or calm her down? I'd take her out but at the beginning of day 3 with us she is telling us what to do and expects results. She want to be with us constantly, has little interest in playing or even eating unless I feed her by hand. She's adjusted well to her flock family, and loves my boys (ages 20 and 23). I don't want her to develop bad habits, this paper shredding is so far just a major annoyance.

for curling irons? I used the heat-activating spray, styling spray, but they all turn out to make my hair straight again after 1 min, and my hair turns 'crispy' instead of soft and smooth. My hair is natually smooth and straight. HELP!!!

I sent this girl friend that I have not seen in months a message to meet up. I was coming through her area, but she could not meet up for the time I set. I caught up with other friends instead of hang with her. She was unable to contact me before I got there. Anyway, she sent a phone message back later and stated my full name then said that she was "so sorry" in a really dramatic fashion. She then explained that she visited her family and really hoped to "catch up" the next time I visit the area. I wonder two things. Why was she really nervous when she called? She said a lot of strange things and giggled sometimes during the message. And why was she really eager to meet up and "catch up"?

I once asked a child why he didn't believe in Santa anymore, and he answered "because I got a stupid football and I wanted a red rider BB gun".

Do you think everyone who doesn't believe in Santa disbelieve because they are mad at him?

My beautiful wife will be 39 at the end of this month. Any ideas? Did the spa thing for Valentine's day and I, being male, have been wracking my brain for weeks and have come up with nothing that fits the situation. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

It has been building up for the last couple of months etc. All it is doing is putting me further and further into debt. I've tried to get the money back from him but he says right now he is basically on the verge of being bankrupt. We're moving out in a few weeks so at least there won't be any more money owed for shared bills etc. He is a good friend of many years but the situation is unacceptable. I know him well and he WILL pay me the money back, I just don't know when. I've told him he's paying any interest that I'm charged
