I once asked a child why he didn't believe in Santa anymore, and he answered "because I got a stupid football and I wanted a red rider BB gun".

Do you think everyone who doesn't believe in Santa disbelieve because they are mad at him?

Wow. People don't believe in Santa? They're just mad because he keeps putting charcoal in their grills

Nope, this furry little mammal isn't angry with Santa at all. Santa is all the good in Humankind that gives of itself without need for reparation. Even though I'm 44, I believe and will continue to believe in Santa. He makes the World a better place.

No, I never believed in Santa. My parents were the ones who bought my presents and put them under the tree, and I knew it.

And yes, I know that you're aiming the question at Christians, but I'm ignoring that.

I COULD, however, point out that at one time, Santa WAS real. He's based on a person that actually existed.

ah! He is a lie! He isn't real! I had some foster children who never got anything for Christmas and this spoiled brat rich kid down the street who got anything he wanted was such a bully and they didn't dare challenge him they told me, because it is always the foster kids fault. What did you do to him first?
Nothing in life is fair, he told them they were bad his mother told him that is why Santa Clause didn't bring them anything.
Satan appears as an angel of light, so he uses lies to hurt poor people. Such as the lie about Santa Clause. I don't believe in lieing to Children. After so many lies pretty soon they don't believe anything you tell them. So when you read about Jesus walking on water. They think it is another lie.
Only God knows if you are good or bad. Not some over weight myth.

LOL!
Yes being angry at fictional characters seems to be a theme here...
Jesus, Santa, God, Leprechauns, all of them are taking a beating here...

well I'll be !! He does exist as I've met the gentleman. although I did ask him why he lives at the North Pole instead of the warmer climate and found out there was one logical reason and one that was illogical ( at least to me )
