Because they are such beautiful, soft, furry creatures that bring us comfort when we are sad. I love to hear them purr.....and when they nudge you with their head or paw.

I love my kitty too, she's so wonderful and makes me so very happy, she is the first thing I run to see when I walk in from work. I think we love our cats because they give us endless love in return for the love we show them.

You've probably have had that cat for a long time, it's emotionally attached to you, just like if you were to have a child. Because you probably raised it from a kitten therefore your the mom, or dad, or guardian.

It is your pet - or baby - some people are that way with dogs, cars etc. Sure sometimes it can be excessive with some people but all animals need to be loved so love your baby and just be happy!

Probably because your kitty gives you love and affection and is a sweety.
I love all of my kitties...they are so warm and cuddly and show so much love....:)
