It has been building up for the last couple of months etc. All it is doing is putting me further and further into debt. I've tried to get the money back from him but he says right now he is basically on the verge of being bankrupt. We're moving out in a few weeks so at least there won't be any more money owed for shared bills etc. He is a good friend of many years but the situation is unacceptable. I know him well and he WILL pay me the money back, I just don't know when. I've told him he's paying any interest that I'm charged

Sounds like he has been riding on your coat tails for awhile... YOu obviously didn't catch it right away, so the pattern of course continued....
You might be waiting a longtime for this cash, because he hasn"t given you a date to repay , only his excuses.
Chalk it up to a bad decision and don't let it happen again.
Do not share a place with him or lend him money, or anyone who is not responsible...
Be glad it wasn't more money..
He might have been a friend for a long time, but he is not a good friend now... he is making you pay for his mistakes
That is not a friend... move on......because he is already looking for his next hand out.....

Just go to court, thats the only way that youll ever be able to get that money back. Just make sure you have proof that you gave them the money, a check or something! He cant avoid this forever, this is a money problem that has to be solved.

how are you able to take money from the financial gadget, then supply it lower back to the financial gadget? they think of this could make the WallSt #'s seem good, in spite of if it is a shaggy dog tale. Sorry, yet mine would be sitting in my financial company till I extremely have an emergency. I extremely have been spending money unnecesarily for too long. its time to sit down down lower back and relax on it.
