I go out with this lady friend a few times already. The last time I go out, we sat on the beach and I ask her what kind of person did you want to meet of your relationship? She reply, a funny, know some sport skills and caring. I told her what I think as well. And I ask her did anyone in school ask her out. She told me yes. A guy at school and a guy at work place. But I ask her how long did you stay that relationship for. She said a month. Also she told me that because at the start, they all very nice, but after a few weeks, they don’t care anymore. So they broke up.
Soon she said that, in my heart, I knew myself I could be better than that. I don’t have a good look, may not be a funny person but I like sport, and I know how to care about people but I just never get a real chance to show them.

My brother in laws ex-girlfriend used to be a good friend of mine. And she did something dispicable and we got into a fight and at the time I was pregnant and she said that she hoped that my baby would die. I have not talked to her since and my brother in law and her broke up. Well, my b-in-l and her started talking again and she said that she wanted to come over here and talk to me. I told my husband no. He started attacking my christianity. I said that I have forgiven her but that does not mean that I have to see her. Basically I don't trust her. He ignored anything that I said and he allowed her to come over and basically FORCED her on me. ( she at one time tried to seduce my husband). The whole thing was uncomfortable for me and she was acting like a condescending b...... He completely disrespected me and I am very upset and I tried to explain to him the way that I felt and he just acts like he does not understand at all! So what can I do?

I'm a shy girl, and I like this boy that I've known since last year. We share some unique interests. The problem is, he's even shyer than I am! And he talks to me even less than he talks to my girlfriends.

One of his friends teases us about each other, but that may just be because we're partners in class. And when someone asked him who he likes, he just blushed and kept his mouth shut. He remained this way when asked if the girl was me. Hey, at least he didn't say no! But I think he's already aware that I'm hoping for a boyfriend. Does he like me but is just too shy to say it? Or is he just not interested?

I'm curious about how to know this without coming right out and declaring my feelings for him (I'm an old-fashioned kind of girl). I've already asked his friend, who isn't sure. Please help me with at least one of these questions; I'm lonely!

My grandaughter keeps staying out and not telling me where she is, she lives me with me and i get fed up with roaming the streets trying to find her, she did it the other night and i got in late and went to bed as i was exhausted and not up to it again. anyway she did not come back so i went on the search for her and people see her with people but i called the police and she did not come home. They asked me why i did not call the police the first night and i feel guilty and now they have taken her into care, why does she keep doing this to me, she used to be a good girl but she does go around with a bad lot and they get her into trouble the social worker said they found her at a unsuitable address, to be honest i am sick and tired of her she plays up at school and i have to go in every day and sit with her, everyone expects so much of me and i know i did wrong not calling the police that night. well she is going into foster care now. will i see her again i am worrried i wont.

A classmate of mine from high school was killed in a car accident. Since I graduated with 500 kids from high school, I did not really know this person well, but I was in a few classes with her. I can't say we were close, but I feel like I was still friends with her, seeing as we worked down the street from each other, and almost always run into each other.

I went to the funeral, mass, and burial, and then to the after party. I did feel a bit out of place, since everyone at the after party was a close friend or family member, but there were some other classmates of mine that were there, that I am close to.

My mother thought it was inappropriate to have attended the after party, but the family thought it was a nice gesture that someone she went to school with came. I expressed my concerns with her father and some of her cousins, and they all thought it was a nice gesture.

Was I right to have attended the after party?
