I go out with this lady friend a few times already. The last time I go out, we sat on the beach and I ask her what kind of person did you want to meet of your relationship? She reply, a funny, know some sport skills and caring. I told her what I think as well. And I ask her did anyone in school ask her out. She told me yes. A guy at school and a guy at work place. But I ask her how long did you stay that relationship for. She said a month. Also she told me that because at the start, they all very nice, but after a few weeks, they don’t care anymore. So they broke up.
Soon she said that, in my heart, I knew myself I could be better than that. I don’t have a good look, may not be a funny person but I like sport, and I know how to care about people but I just never get a real chance to show them.

So she ask me who do I like in school, I told her the first person is Jane (one of my best friend, but we both know we are in relationship, we are just friends). So I move on, the second person is “you”. A silence felt suddenly. I told her that I would like to try. So we move on but I can’t get a clear answer from her.
Finally, what should I do? Should I talk to her friend (she is one of my best friend as well) and ask her to discover for me? Or when I get back to school I go and talk to her and I go straight and ask her clearly do she want to give me and herself a change for a relationship.
Please help me everyone, I need your advice. I need to get this done no later than the first week back. I always worry. I can’t sleep well until this problem is solved. Thanks a lot.

I would like to add some more information. I do want to try. When I am with her, I have a feeling of comfort. Therefore I would like her to have a same feeling as me. I know that it is ok she said “No” to me. But I am just not sure. She is one of my best friend. Last of all, if I do ask her when I get back to school. Should I play and sing a song to her to show her how much I like her??? Below is what I am thinking:

One more point. I like her is not because she is good looking outside. I like her is because her has a character, personalties. I am really like to know her deeper and explore the inside of her attractive heart.

You expressed yourself clearly to her. The ball is in her court now. You will find out without having to go to her friend and ask questions. She may need some time to think about that. Perhaps she is afraid of losing your friendship if you both go out together, because no matter what, the friendship will change forever, perhaps for better, perhaps for the worse. Give her time to think it all through. You will get your answers with time, even if it means you have to figure it out for yourself.
