Your period stays away for the whole time during the pregnancy although some women can have a small bleed known as spotting. The flow each month is your body's way of expelling an unfertilized egg and lining of the uterus but there are lots of reason's for periods not being present, including not eating, however it is often pregnancy!
Pregnancy does not usually make tummies tender but the change in hormones can make your nipples very tender, there are also other signes of pregnancy like feeing nausious in the morning as well as a line of darkened skin colour running from the belly button down.
It may well be advisable to take a pregnancy test and if this shows negetive then visit your doctor to make sure you are healthy and well.
The worst thing you can do is to worry! - worry is pointless! When we worry you can either do something about it or not do something. Get active and do something that helps you to move forward through your situation, so you dont need to worry!!
take care and best of luck!!

I am sorry that you do not know this answer on your own which tells me YOU SHOULD NOT BE HAVING SEX!
However, as stated by many others pregnancy is only one reason you may have ceased you period. Exercising over long periods of time will cause your period to stop, ovarian cyst are another reason.
My thought would be see a doctor, for any of the above reasons. If it has been three months that is cause for concern. If you don't want to go to your family doctor because of WHATEVER reason, contact your local woman's shelter or planned parenthood, both are great sources for young people who have no ideas about these things, and plus they will not tell your parents.

You're kidding right? You seriously don't know? Ok, most women do not get a period at all throughout the entire pregnancy. So if you haven't had one for 3 months, get to a doc, cuz you're likely pregnant.

take a pregnancy test and see whether you r pregnant. if you r then you will not get it for 9 months. Usually that's right but some women have a little bleeding even when they r pregnant which is normal, but a whole lot is not good. See your doc.

The whole 9 months.
I suggest you go to the pharmacy and pick up a home pregnancy test.
Or you can go to the local Planned Parenthood and they will test you for free and give you any information you may need.

there may be many reason why you have not had a period, pregnancy is only one of them. Go to the chemist and get a home testing kit they are inexpensive and are very reliable, this way you will know for sure. If you re not then go to your DR and ask for their help.
