I know it depends on the location and all that, I just want to know what's the cheapest price to the highest price and the usual price I should be expecting to pay if I was to ever purchase land there (I know it depends on when like the time, just quote me for the rates right now ok).

A 7.23 kg block is on top of a table (frictionless, horizontal surface). The first block is connected by a cord passing over a pulley to another block of mass 4.09 kg which hangs in the air over the right side of the table. The cord is weightless & massless and does not stretch. The pulley has no friction or rotational inertia. The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s^2.

Calculate the acceleration of the first block (in m/s^2). I got .361307 and then recalculated and got -2.71837 m/s & doubt either is correct (sigh loudly).

Calculate the tension in the cord (answer in N).

Can't figure out what I am doing wrong....if I am sure I understand and have the right answers it will help me move on to other problems. Thanks in advance for any help.

I copied this from someone who provided me with this suggestion but I don't really get it:

"Hold 2 dumbbells in each hand just relaxed.. now hold them together @ front side of UR body (just in front of front thigh)now lift them both together, rotating UR wrists facing the fingers downwards...( try 2 avoid over bend of elbow) Dumbells R lifted till they R parallel 2 UR shoulders... hold it 4 1-2 secs n then back to relaxed position... This give U the whole Deltoid n partial shoulder work out..."

so will this work out the rounded part of the shoulders as well as the top part of my upper arm just below the slope of the shoulders?

We are in the process of renting a house out. Yesterday I accepted an application from two women who are friends and want to rent the house together.

Questions:
1) Am I legally required to accept applications from both of them? In other words, can a landlord decide to rent to only one party? I'm a bit wary of splittling the lease between the two of them because what if they have a falling out? However, I don't think I can deny them based on this because it could be considered discrimination based on familial status, correct?
2) They are using their fiances' incomes on the application to boost their monthly take-home. Should we consider this income since the fiances are not actually acting as co-applicants? I'm thinking no...
3) I haven't processed the application yet, but one of them said her credit score was 560. She said she's had a clean rental history at her apartment (which I'll verify, of course). What do you recommend as a cut-off no-go credit score?
