i started dating someone i worked with over the summer, he's really sweet and we do enjoy spending time 2gether, however since coming back to my university i have been out and met another guy who i think i'm starting to fall for, he's sweet smart and funny, ive always been so opposed to cheating, but dont know if i should break up with my boyfriend to be with this other guy, its so much more convinent with it not being a long distance relationship. the only other thing is that the guy ive met at uni has a bit of a reputation, i dont want to give up what i could have with my boyfriend just to get my heart broken

Don't believe everything you hear about men's reps. I got that crap alot merely because I had alot of female friends. No, that's bs. At that age I played but I was mostly frank about being a good time man ie not the committed type. And though I can't speak for all men, my suspicions are, if you tell him exactly what your concerns are, that you want consistency in a relationship and not to be treated like an overnight novelty toy, and to be truthful with you, chances are he'll be square. And the best piece of advice I can offer from my own experience is girl, a persons actions will speak loudly for their character. If he's a good guy, you'll right away based on how he treats publically, and privately. Long distance guy? Write him a letter or call him. Those don't work well. Good luck.

You can date them both until you decide which one you like or they make some type commitment to you.

Dating the first one for three weeks is not a long enough time for you to worry about having made a serious romance with any one.

if your even asking the question you have your answer... you obviously dont care as much for your existing partner as you should so set him free and allow him to be happy and not cheated on.
as for the new guy, so what if he has a reputation, if you get hurt then it is going to be your own fault, after all you will have made the choice

WOW you sure know how to look out for number one. Any thoughts about any else just seem to confuse you. so you are asking for permission to do what good old number one wants to do. Hell fill you boots

Ermm well i'd say date them both, that's what I am doing...but since that isn't ethical...go with what you think, no one else can tell you which guy to go for...we don't know them, afterall.

Oh poor you, you just want to have your cake and eat it don't you? I hope it all blows up in your face and you end up with no one. I pity both blokes.
