If I understand your question the anwswer (one of many) would be "letter from a Birmingham jail." This letter was written by Dr. King when he was in jail and thus since the letter was written by him it is a primary source. If you read an article about his "letter from a Birmingham jail" then it would be a secondary source.
A primary doucment is something that the person wrote themselves a secondary document is something that someone wrote about the person.
