i was eating cereal. and i took my birth control pill at the same time. but i think i chomped on it and the birth control pill is now in two separate pieces. wouldnt that still be effective? i mean you still have the birth control pill its just in two separate pieces inside you.

My dog, Lady keeps having recurring outbreaks. The diagnosis was made by a lab from samples taken from the vet. Treatments with Prednisone 10mg have given some relief. After treatment Lady may stay cleared up for a couple of weeks but soon has a relapse. Of course with the treatments of Prednisone she inflates like a basketball and it causes her to be unable to control her bowel and bladder. Hair loss, and itching are prevalent prior to treatment. She has been on this current treatment at least 3 times but continues to have outbreaks.

what the hell is so great about blogging and why do people love it so much. are people so stupid as to think that blogging is great or do they just not realize that its just a message like any other online message. and about myspace wth is so great if you ask me its just another way for internet pervs to prey on youg stupid kids who think every1 tells the truth on the internet. give me your opinion on these two subjects i realy want to know if there are any sane humans left on this earth or if i have to go live with lions or wolves to be surrounded in common cense anymore.

im not sure but i think i get panic attacks. ill be in the shower or in my bed about to fall asleep and all of a sudden i start thinking that someethings in the room with me and i cant close my eyes and i have to keep looking past the shower curtain or under the covers to make sure nothings there and i KNOW nothing is there but i stilll have to keep looking, and the result is i will get out of the shower sooo quickly i will have forgotten to do something, like i will have forgotton to shampoo or i will not get to sleep untill im so tired i cant even keep my eyes open. help please!!!
i would really like to know if its panic attacks or something else and what i can do about it so they either dont happen or dont affect my day-to-day life

Ok, so I started talking to this girl last Friday and I started to really like her. I really wanted to ask her to homecoming, but at first I was too nervous, but I ended up doing it anyway on Thursday. I asked her "Hey, do you wanna go to homecoming together?" She replied "Sure...can we go as friends?" I said, "Oh sure, of course." But now I don't know what to do. The only other times I've had a date to homecoming was with my then girlfriend, so I don't know how I should act since I guess she doesn't like me back and we're going to homecoming together. What do I do?

I'm on the birth control pill and normally should have got my period on either wednesday or thursday. Yesterday I got a few drops of blood and that was it. Still nothing and its never late. My husband and I dont really know what to do. Should I just wait a few more days or should I get a test to see if I could be pregnant?

A girl I like in my office keeps telling people she works with she wants a boyfriend and that she only dates older guys (I am older) - I know this 'cos I sit a couple of desks away from her (but work in a different team doing a different job). Her team-mates tried to set her up with their friends but she says quite loudly that they're not her type.

She is outgoing and so am I (except around women) but we don't talk to each other much - maybe because I'm a bit shy, or maybe she just doesn't like me (or thinks I am weird)?

She flicks her hair a bit when I walk past and sometimes I catch her having a sneaky look towards me - but I just don't know, I could be imagining it.

I think I'd like to ask her out but it's not easy. I'm not too bothered if she says no - but not sure I'd enjoy the whole office finding out and then sitting near her if she still continues to complain she can't find a boyfriend - she is very pretty & could easily find someone.

Any ideas?

Using Le Chatelier's Principle, explain what is happening in the test tubes

Place several drops of thymolphthalein indicator into each of three test tubes.

To the first tube add about 1 mL of 0.1 M hydrochloric acid (HCl).
-No visible change

To the second tube add about 2 mL of 0.1 M ammonium hydroxide (NH4OH).
-blue solution formed, white ppt appeared on standing

To the third tube add about 1 mL of 0.1 M sodium hydroxide (NaOH).
-dark blue solution formed

Split the contents of the second tube in two by pouring about half of its contents into a new test tube. Call these tubes "2a" and "2b."


Add a few drops of 1M hydrochloric acid to tube 2a, and a few drops of 1M ammonium chloride to tube 2b. Record your observations.
2a - blue solution turned colorless, white ppt insoluble in HCl
2b - blue solution turned colorless, white ppt insoluble in HCl
