A girl I like in my office keeps telling people she works with she wants a boyfriend and that she only dates older guys (I am older) - I know this 'cos I sit a couple of desks away from her (but work in a different team doing a different job). Her team-mates tried to set her up with their friends but she says quite loudly that they're not her type.
She is outgoing and so am I (except around women) but we don't talk to each other much - maybe because I'm a bit shy, or maybe she just doesn't like me (or thinks I am weird)?
She flicks her hair a bit when I walk past and sometimes I catch her having a sneaky look towards me - but I just don't know, I could be imagining it.
I think I'd like to ask her out but it's not easy. I'm not too bothered if she says no - but not sure I'd enjoy the whole office finding out and then sitting near her if she still continues to complain she can't find a boyfriend - she is very pretty & could easily find someone.
Any ideas?

defo go fot it u dont rele have n e thin to loose! and if u dont ask her u may regret it! why dont u go out somehwere fun like nothin to serious like a meal or somethin but how about ice skating or seein a film. that way its a relaxed environment. and then after that u can take it from there. get her number! give her a text after sayin i had a good time cnt wait to do it agen or somethin!!! just go for it! im sure it will turn out fine!!! let me kno im nosey!!! lol!!

Why not invite her to lunch one day? You'll get an idea then if she's interested in you, and it won't have to appear like a "date" so if y'all don't click, there won't be any need for you to worry about what your officemates think if she keeps complaining about not having a boyfriend...
However, be aware that someone who's on a boyfriend hunt, like she is, may not make a good partner...people who think they have to be in a relationship tend to be needy and insecure...she may not have a boyfriend because she's not a good girlfriend...
...only way you'll find out is to go for it...

EVER consider that she not looking for someone else and let me tell u, a women can be the most fine woman on earth but loneliness dims beauty so don't put off asking her out JUST DO IT DO IT NOW [or whenever you see her] or your gonna think i coulda,shoulda,woulda.

Don't just sit their give it a go ask her out she can say yes or no.or some one will get their before you then you will kick your self?
