My adorable 4 mo old boy has developed a flat spot on the back of his head. I started noticing it about 2 weeks ago. I think it began to flatten when he went to daycare last month (who btw, are very good) since they have him on his back for all his naps,and of course he sleeps at night on his back. My husband thought I was making too much of it, but yesterday the first thing the Pediatrician said was "his head is flat". I feel HORRIBLE. Anyone have advice on how-to/how-long it will take to correct this? I've left strict orders for naps to be on his tummy, supervised, b/c at this age he can only do tummy-time for 10-15 minutes before exhausting himself. And what's 15 minutes here and there when babies this age sleep 16hrs a day on their backs?!

Why is that when it comes to prostitution, promiscuouity, etc...men are labeled 'dog's...but the women are seen as 'liberated' and 'sexy'...and it's overlooked...?

Why is that when a woman has a kid out of wed-lock she's considered the victim...but when it's a man it's assumed he only won the custody of the child because he's a man?

Why is that when a man is in his 30's and single, he's scared of commitment , but when it's a woman : she's smart and strong for not compramising for a man?

Why is that when a man is up front about wanting to be in a sexual relationship, he's seen as a 'pig'...but when it's a womman, she's seen a 'strong willed' woman who knows what she wants...

Why is it that when a man wants to be wealthy and live a comfortable life, he's seen as a stereotypical, self-pleasing man, or if career-minded and strong, then he's a chauvinist...but women who do the same are considered 'ambitious', 'modern', and 'in control'?

When will men and women truly be equal?

I have heard this all my life but need a true explanation and not hearsay. I have lost 25 lbs through reducing calories and power walking daily. Part of my dieting has been taken care of by replaceing excess calories by eating shaved ice when I get the "munchies". Shaved ice feels like solid food and numbs my taste buds slightly but I only have about 16 to 32 oz (volume a day)... I call it the "iceman" diet : ) Sounds corny but it works...
