I have recently acquired my late grandmother's wedding ring. I was born and raised in the U.S., and am not familiar with the hallmarks. After all of my research online, I still cannot find out the company. The company's hallmark is ACC (ending with a small C underlined). The other markings tell me that it is from Birmingham, 22 carat gold, and the date mark is "H."
Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

How much did you spend or do you plan to spend on decorating the ceremony site? And, give details of how you decorated, if you can. Also, what kind of venue and how much did it cost to rent?

Groups sometimes go on a retreat. Why call it that? Are they under attack and giving up? Have so many people left the group that they can't continue on? It just seems like an odd word to use. Why not call it a session, or sabbatical, or even a pow-wow?

My significant’s daughter who is 27 is to be engaged to Mr. Wonderful of about 33 shortly. In the past 19 months of their courtship, Mr. Wonderful has never taken the time out to see my Significant and discuss with her on the future of their courtship or the upcoming engagement party. Mr.Wonderful has shown no signs of respect what so ever to my significant or me and they have been very quite about their future plans. On the other hand Mrs. Wonderful soon to be has been secretive all her life and has not discussed anything about her plans too. I have cared for Mrs.Wonderful for the past 9 years providing what best I could do even beyond what I gave for my own daughter.

My question to you folks is: “IS THERE A LACK OF RESPECT TO FAMILY AND ELDERS “here or is this what they are made up of? How should you take this into account – Disrespectful or who wants you and who cares about you any way?

I want my Significant to attend the engagement party as a Mother, even though Mr. Wonderful never had the guts to come up and invite her formally and I do not plan on attending. Is my personal decision correct, because I respected my parents when they were alive and I respect them every day even though they are dead. I owe all my past and present to them. I respect my family and all my associates in whatever capacity them may be.

My 16 month old son is going through some issues, he has chronic ear infections and is scheduled to have tubes put in plus he is cutting teeth and has a pretty good cold right now so I know he is ging through alot but when my husband comes home he will just start bawling and hang onto me for dear life, if I leave the room he bawls, if his dad tries to pick him up to give me a break he loses his mind and cries and kicks and tries to throw himself out of his arms, I know there is such thing as seperation anxiety but this is awful. And please no responses that maybe he's afraid of him because something he did to him because its not like that, my husband has never so much as smacked his hand. But when I leave the house I guess he's fine, he will play and play and laugh and run around crazy with his dad but if I am there he has a total fit if his dad even walks toward him. Is this a phase?
