The first message is that wealthy people are the only people that matter. Secondly , that families are fractured, that everyone in a family is narcissitic, and that cheating is rampant among spouses. They also show people being beautiful and without many physical flaws, but with many psychological and moral flaws. These messages cannot be good for people who are unaware of these values that the shows are conveying. It has to be harmful to the psyche.

Look, I am no genius, but I could spew about 20 pages on the effects of social class in making compelling daytime TV. How is it that you cannot figure it out. It's common logic. Give your 10 points to some other sucker.

you watch some day time tv and answer this question yourself. You do your own homework. I could see if you needed help with a math problem but this one you can handle yourself. So go watch a talk show or a soap opera. Have fun doing your homework!

I wish that they would take off those "daytime" soaps...it would make for better tv!!
