My husband's best friend kept giving me the "I want to have sex/make out hand shake" (taking his middle finger and tickling the palm of my hand) on Saturday night. I just figured out what it meant. I told my husband and he thinks that he didn't mean anything by it, that he was just goofing around. It bothers me, whether or not it was a joke or not. I find it disrespectful and obnoxious. I'd like to hear others perpective. How should I handle this if it happens again?

its just to verfy how much a women can be free in our country ..... I guess INDIA has its freedom ... That is when two friends commit themselves to each other, they stop interacting with their common friends in a manner that they used to.
That is once they become 'safe' in the new relationship or probably in their lives, they overact to prove that they are now 'mature', 'choosy' and so on. Got my point.

Why do they become selfish and self centred? It hurts me a lot to interact with such kind people. How to interact with such people?

It happened to me actually. I was a very good friend of one girl and then she became comitted to one common friend. Now I dont even know her newly changed mobile number. It pains me a lot. I had no feelings for that girl. But it hurts to have such kinda behaviour from a good friend. Isn't it?

why should we pay for a television licence. in this digital age is it not possible for the bbc to introduce pay for view. if we dont pay for a licence we can be prosecuted whether we watch bbc or not. If we all decided today not to buy a new tv licence would this not make the bbc reconsider after all they only have so much room in their prisons and it would not be financialy viable or possible to prosecute everyone. after all we are not forced to buy anything from any other market place if we do not want to it have.

We have all read that the remarks made by Pope Benedict 16 was not taken favourably by Muslims all over the world... and he was condemned for it...
Why can't the muslims get their facts straigthened out and explain to non muslims the truth about their religion and instead fight with violence? Isn't it time that they should educate so that others will understand and accept them instead of threatening with terrorism? Could it be that they are not sure of themselves or their existence?
