The first fans to sing You'll Never Walk Alone were Man Utd fans in the immediate aftermath of the Munich Air Disaster. It's only relatively recently that the song has come to be associated solely with Liverpool. I certainly remember Utd fans singing it on the Stretford End as recently as the early 80's. I'm also led to believe that Celtic sang it before LIverpool but nobody seems to have any proof. The very first rendition though was Utd's.

So if it is true about Man United singing it first it was to mourn the deaths in the Munich air disaster.

That doesn't bother me in the slightest.

But as far as Liverpool or Celtic it was Liverpool first, scout the net like I did and do some searches, all the evidence points to Liverpool.

Celtic were the first team to sing walk on after it first appeared in the musical carousel(50s) scousers being thick and lagging behind the real world as usual started singing it in the 60s after gerry and the pacemakers made a cover version about 15yrs later and you do know scousers will steal anything from your hubcaps to your songs. scousers are just geordies with the brains removed

It has always been Liverpool's anthem and Celtic are just ripping it off because there is nothing original they can sing about without it being sectarian.
