Absolutely! You only get colds from being exposed to germs and viruses.

Yes, I think you may be right, but why do some people get a cold after they are exposed to cold temperatures? I think it has to do with the cold temperatures down grading the power of one immune system, at leat temporarily. This allows the Parasites that we have inside of us at the time to take over-power our immune system and we get a cold as the manifastation of a temporarily weakened immune system. One source that I read says that we cannot get a cold unless we have been exposed to "mold" in some form, from our foods or in our envirnoment. Molds, always carry the virus that causes the common cold. Therefore, molds are some of the most powerful toxins that we need to stay away from. One should never eat moldy foods, for instance. Cheese is a very moldy food, also. See the book, "The Cure For All Diseases," by Dr. Hulda R. Clark, Ph.D. N.D.

TRUE

you can not catch a cold from being exposed to the cold,
however...you can get a cold faster if you were exposed to the cold because,

Exposure to the elements, especially the cold, can radically weaken your immune system.

(Cold decreases the immune system via the stress response. Catecholemine production increases the body's need for ATP production.
The immune system is the most costly consumer of ATP. By means of physiologic adaptation to a stressor, the body lowers the immune system's ATP uptake to fulfill the requirements of other adaptations needed to survive a stressful environment.)

With your immune system down, the body is vulnerable to the incredible amount of bacteria and viruses

Colds r caused dy viruses, not by going out in the cold, sitting under the ac vent, or going out with wet hair and other nonsense things my mother in law tries to tell me. Ooops. I mean u. None of those things r true. U touch a cold virus on the sink or the shopping cart and then pick ur nose or scratch ur face or stick ur fingers in ur mouth, and u get a cold.

That's right, the common cold is a virus. But, you can get a sore throat and get all stuffy. So, even though you don't actually have a cold, it'll feel like one.

smackdye is absolutely right. this has been proved from science for many many years, however people tend to continue to believe the old wives tale about cold air and colds because it has been around for so long.
