That is when two friends commit themselves to each other, they stop interacting with their common friends in a manner that they used to.
That is once they become 'safe' in the new relationship or probably in their lives, they overact to prove that they are now 'mature', 'choosy' and so on. Got my point.

Why do they become selfish and self centred? It hurts me a lot to interact with such kind people. How to interact with such people?

It happened to me actually. I was a very good friend of one girl and then she became comitted to one common friend. Now I dont even know her newly changed mobile number. It pains me a lot. I had no feelings for that girl. But it hurts to have such kinda behaviour from a good friend. Isn't it?

In the beginning of relationships it is important for the couple to get to know eachother, sometimes this means spending less time with friends. It can be hard to cope with if you are used to your friend always being around. Give the couple a month to get to know eachother and for the newness of the relationship to wear off before you jump to conclusions. If your friend is spending ALL their time with their partner and no time with other friends the relationship is codependent and will probably not last. Make sure you tell your friend how you feel, if you don't bring it to their attention they may never notice. A simple statement of "Hey, I miss hanging out with you, when can you make time for me?" should be substantial enough to jog them out of their pattern. Otherwise just sit tight and wait for the relationship to end.

I think you should not disturb her.You will understand when you will go the family way, which means when you will get a life partner in future.

Basically, people suck and the whole reason for socializing is to find someone to be with so you don't have to endure dealing with wankers anymore.
