I'm currently a college student and can only apply for boring,part-time, tedious jobs that pay minimum wage. I think most employers ask why you apply, and out of the jobs that I have applied to, I answer them bluntly "because I need the money." For example, I applied for a filing job and she asked why I applied, and I said "because I need to pay for part of my rent."

My friend told me it was the wrong answer, yet how can I fake interest for such boring jobs that pay little? I mean, how can I tell her it's my life dream to file papers? I don't understand. I thought being honest was a good thing...

what type of fries that they use?

and man! Is their salt like..er something "special"? coz it taste extra good!!!

An innocent family on vacation was traveling through and the police pulled them over.

Do you think that the police are getting out of line.

These types of police activity are happening on a daily basis now.

Police no longer respect honest citizens. Cops are becoming paranoid schizophrenic psychotic murderers with guns and power now.

Cops have an attitude that it's them against us now.

Here's what I did and here's what I'm going to do next. What do you think?

I made my first batch of Sangria.
1 bottle of 2005 Folie a Deux Menage a Trois California Red Wine (I heard the 2004 was a good choice, but not available to me at the time).
2 cups Canada Dry Ginger Ale.
1/4 cup no pulp Orange Juice.
1 mini Korbel Brandy
2 Tbsp C&H Sugar
1 sliced Lime
1 sliced Lemon
1/2 sliced Fuji Apple

I added a couple of ziplock baggies of ice cubes and chilled it in the refrigerator for an hour (didn't have an overnight option). Shared it with 3 other people with the admonition that I had no idea if it was going to be terrible or decent or great. They all liked it and drank it to the last drop.

I enjoyed it, but thought it was too sweet. So I'm thinking of
doing it all over again, but this time leaving out the 2 tablespoons of sugar to reduce the sweetness.

What would you do to improve my recipe? Feel free to try my recipe to see how you like it.

I saw one yesterday. It said, "My Pen Is Huge", BUT the words "Pen" and "Is" are VERY close together. If you have 1/10 of a brain, you get the joke. It seems like it would be used in a foreign country, since the word "Is" gets omitted from much of their vocabulary.

I moved out of Phoenix, AZ 4 years ago to WA state. I grew up in WA state and really tired of this state. Is Phoenix worth moving back to? I heard the crime is getting worse down there. I have replaced the rubber washer in the valve and when I pull up on the float arm everything seems to stop then shortly thereafter air bubbles start coming out of the bottom of the fill tube. How could air be getting thru the valve without water which would cause the shutoff valve to tighten?

I just had about 5 or 6 cigarettes in like 3-4 hours, I suddenly felt tired cuase it was 2:30am and I started feeling nausy, then it was followed by a huge head change, then nervousness and then I started to vomit. Can someone explain why? Does a lot of smoke in your lungs cuase this?
