OK I'm new to DVR. I currently have Direct TV HD package and a Plasma TV. I don't even have a DVD player for the system yet. I do have a high-end PC (Dell) with Windows Media Player installed but I would need to purchase an additional component to use it as a recorder. I'm not against using the PC for this, just don't know how.

Anyway I want to start recording my TV, including some HD content. I need recommendations on how to go about doing it. I've never even looked into TiVo or standalone recording devices so I am looking for recommendations. My guess is I would record 10-15 hours of programming a week with at least half of that HD content.

I'm open on price but as usual I'd like a system that has a good cost/benefit ratio.

Do you usually do a nice firm solid or are they usually a bit squelchy and stick to the back of the bowl a bit?
The reason I ask is because I dont seem to do the one piece solid very often. Im not talking about diarrhea here just that it sometimes has the appearence of brown mashed potato.

So solid or squashy?

I keep getting 3-4 emails a day in my bulk email saying "failure delivery notice" when I have never sent anything, is it a virus? And why am I suddenly getting them. It started when I started my Myspace account which I have since deleted.

I have to write a paper on a career we might consider doing when we graduate. I have considered doing somthing with computer but what is a good computer job that would be easy to right a paper on. My husband and I went into business with a guy 3 years ago. He had already had a similar business established and we rubbed off from that and he was the one who put up the money to get us up and running. My husband and I have done most of the work to make our new company what is today, which it is thriving very well. Here's my dilema...The person that we are in business with is very controling and states to us all the time that "he is the boss". He does have controlling shares but we are all in this together. I had a doctors appointment the other day and he was upset that I had to leave the office and told me that I should not feel that I can come and go as I please...excuse me but as part owner of the company I feel that if I want to go to an appt. or come in 15 minutes late I should not get my butt chewed out..he comes and goes as he pleases and some days does not come in at all and does not tell us where he is...I have discussed this with him but he says it ok for him! Advice?

Ok i had to travel this week to a funeral 3rd cancer victim i knew in1 month.. but here is the catch ..fuel in Cheyenne $2.89 a gallon ..next stop Limon $2.34 a gallon ..next Kansas $ 2.13 a gallon.. a relative from arkansas came through Tulsa and got gas for under $2.00 .. so who is screweing us? i know a person that works in a refinery... says oil prices coming in to the refinery havent changed in over a year..all still about the same..and who do we complain to? deaf ears of our local republican polititons..give me a break welcome the Dictator republic of america. ps Exxon posted 80 billion in profits and are in the process of buying out all conoco retailers in the NW ..just some info to make you go hmmm

I don't want to get the record "expunged," because that doesn't actually purge the files. I'm 21 years old and haven't had any problems sense the incident when I was 16. It is a felony and I served probation for 6 months, paid a fine and did community service to resolve it. The specific felony was burglary of a habitat <$500. And yes, it is a felony. I heard about expunging the record and know that it is automatically sealed. I want to know if it is possible to get my juvenile completely purged, so that it would be as if it never happened. I know that in some states there is a law that allows juvenile records to be purged, but I don't see it in Texas. Please help me out, and let me know if you know someone who has been in a similar situation or know of a way to go about getting my records erased. (IE. Who has the authority to do something like this, how to appeal to this person, what my options are, can I erase my FBI record after this, etc. More details is better than less.

Is it because you are secretly trying to find God and you want a Christian to help you along the way? If atheists don’t believe in God why try and persuade others that there isn’t a God with scientifical and political crap and become belligerent when you are disputed? WTF?
