Children always learn best by example, so if YOU openly show a love for Jesus then they would naturally follow. To help you out you can get a children's illustrated bible or gospel and read them stories about Jesus' great love and especially the one when he called the children to himself. Kids love that and esp. love to hear about his miracles.
The Holy Spirit? Well Jesus himself told us that one cannot truly believe in Him unless one is urged and fulfilled by the Holy Spirit. So the more all of you together get to know Jesus, the Holy Spirit will follow as he himself promised

You get children to accept Jesus Christ the same way adults do. Explain to them the plan of salvation, their need of forgiveness and lead them in a sinners prayer. Once they have prayed and really mean it in their hearts, they are saved. The Holy Spirit comes into their hearts. When you are boran again, you are born of the Spirit. So they have already received the Holy Spirit. If however you are wanting them to be baptised in the Holy Spirit, then you need to teach them about that. Read the story of Acts 2:1-4 to them from the Bible. Tell them they are also be filled to over flowing with the Holy Spirit. He is already in you, but now He wants to flow out of your to the world around you. He will make Jesus real, He will make the Word of God come alive to you. He will help you witness to your friends....and He will give you a prayer language to pray to God with. Then, if they want this, lead them in a pray again asking them to yield their vessels to the Spirit of God. Most believers today, have the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit does not have all of them. They must yield to Him. He is a gentleman and will not force Himself on anyone. I hope this helps...

help them receive the Holy Spirit?
YOU don't, it is an act of GOD alone! ANyone who accepts Christ as their Savior receives the Holy Spirit.
And you dont "Get your kids to accept Jesus"..You do what the Bible says you set an example...you teach them when you wake up, when you go to sleep, etc...it is THEY who must make that descion, you can't force them into it...I mean you could pray the prayer with them, bnut that will not make it real...Remember a conversion must be a true conversion...

Tell them the truth, read them the Bible. Start with New Testament. . . and pray!
God loves all of us!!!
When children know right from wrong they are at the age of accountability. They are held responsible for their actions.
Don't wait to share the Gospel of Jesus!

Never try and force religion on a child. That is just about the most irresponsible thing you can possibly do as a parent. Children are not mature enough to make an objective decision on religion, by trying to make them christians at such a young age you are removing their freedom of religion. It's child abuse, don't do it.
If you read the bible to children and take them to church you are taking advantage of their trust in you. They will likely never be able to look at religion objectively. The only ethical thing to do is to wait until your children are old enough to understand that what you're telling them is not fact, but a series of beliefs held by a minority of the world's population based on faith.

You can teach them about God, and pray for them, but you can never make them except Jesus. None can come unless the Spirit
draws him. This is the work of God alone.

Reminds me of a story.
A little girl kept asking her parents if she could be alone with
her new baby brother. She started insisting and her parents
were worried she might be jealous and wanted to hurt him.
They finally let her have her way, but peeked in the door to
keep an eye on her. She went up to baby brother and asked,
"What's God like, I forgot?"

take them to the Church of your choice and support their natural curiosity which will lead them to discover many things, not just religion. please do not stifle their curiosity or imagination as these are traits which will help them accumulate wisdom and knowledge as well as being able to teach others.
