"Priest and four nuns deny murdering novice by crucifixion...they had performed an exorcism to try and help 23-year-old Irina Cornici.

The five had last June kept Cornici locked in a room for five days at the Tanacu Monastery hanging on a cross with no water or food and a towel stuck in her mouth.

It emerged after her death that Cornici had been diagnosed as a schizophrenic and her "possession" was unlikely to be more than a series of schizophrenic episodes. "

Oh, but they were trying to do God's work, and help this poor lost lamb!(I'm being sarcastic.)The Catholic Church has been pulling this crap for centuries. The Crusades, and the Inquisitions were all just excuses to kill people who didn't conform.Compared to the Spanish Inquisition, this was nothing!!!

There it is: Ignorance at work. The priest and nuns are guilty of murder, as well as a handful of other crimes.

"I never thought for a second that she had a medical problem. I realized from her very first seizure that she had a spiritual problem. She was acting as if she had supernatural powers and I realized she was possessed by a demon. Everybody in the monastery believed the same thing.

"My biggest mistake was that I called the ambulance when I saw she was not moving. I think she died because the medics who came with the ambulance tried to resuscitate her by giving her too much adrenaline.

"The ritual we performed on the young nun is quite ordinary in 90 per cent of Romanian monasteries."

It's strange how you feel that these people were insane to believe this but when you watch "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" you side with the Priest who performed the ritual.

i do no longer extremely think of they rigidity themselves. they simply look to circulate with the circulate. no longer thinking oneself is a lot much less complicated than doing the alternative. that's no longer trouble-free to interrupt unfastened from a christian ecosystem. often times that's greater worthwhile just to maintain quiet. i've got self belief there are much greater atheists between christians than they could think of. some do in simple terms the motions. If in spite of if the stability starts swinging to the different facet, then we in simple terms ought to anticipate that tipping factor the place they are unfastened to inform what they actually think of. an incredible type of following the others is grounded in worry: the priority of no longer being conventional. 'what's going to they think of of me?' that's a extreme psychological subject. no longer anybody can ruin unfastened so easily from their own shackles.

No different at all. Surprising at just how many still of the Dark Ages mindset. They probably think if they get sick, their faith is weak.

Since they wanna follow the Bible like that... eye for an eye. They should be crucified the same way.
