Do you usually do a nice firm solid or are they usually a bit squelchy and stick to the back of the bowl a bit?
The reason I ask is because I dont seem to do the one piece solid very often. Im not talking about diarrhea here just that it sometimes has the appearence of brown mashed potato.
So solid or squashy?

Mine's less firm than I'd like (a bit squelchy and stick to the back of the bowl), I think it's because I'm lactose intolerant. When I take my milk digestant pills, it's firmer, more 'turd-like.' One of the brands has only lactase (the enzyme that breaks down lactose) in it, the other has lactase and rennet in each pill. I think I like the rennet-containing pills better.

Changes all the time!
Have been long, firm and plentiful recently, but did one that was squelchy and stuck to the back of the bowl this morning!
Dunno what I've been eating that caused that!

Could be a number of reasons:
1) What's your diet like? (meat, veg, fruit, fibre etc)
2) Are you on medication that could affect it?
3) Do you have wind, bloated sensations, regular trips to the toilet? (would be irritible bowel syndrome - I had this so had similar issues to you; found my doc gave me mebeverine, it helped).
Good luck.

In our house its all types of turds, sloppy squischy, and ones that refuse to go down the loo when flushed!
you don't eat the same thing EVERYDAY, so your turds won't be the same EVERYDAY!
