I'm interested in what people think today of how popular music has changed.There used to be music that was written and composed with creativity and emotion . Mostly now , it is made with computers , taking little or no creative ability . Lifting a bar ( segment of music that usually lasts 4 beats) and repeating it over and over . A repitition of 1 musical phrase . Most rock now has no guitar solos,due to lack of the publics' appreiciation for vertuois abilty .The songs dont have them , I believe , because they cant play solos. Dont get me wrong , I like alot of the latest rock .It just seems that alot of music has taken a formulaic, simple , and easy way to make money .Forgoing the real strength that music can convey , through genuine heart-felt song writing. To me a , real artist is someone that makes music with true capability of talent , not taking a a segment of another song , and saying "Hey Thanks , Im so talented !" Audience dont listening anymore , they consume.

The girls idolize the singer. Girls faint if they get to touch him. I saw a DVD concert of Tokio Hotel, Germany's hottest teen band whose 2nd CD went platinum within 2 mos. 12,000 screaming girls during the whole concert. Girls under the age of 17..The leader probably turns them on, about 13 yrs. old, looks more like a girl than a guy. The music is great! Why do girls act like that?

Face it. we live in a right hander's world. Everything is geared for them. We have to overcome obstacles EVERY SINGLE DAY and most of us leftys don't even realize it. Did you know that left handers have much better spatial reasoning skills? Did you know that they excel at math, art, chess, and pool? And did you know that leftys are quite valuable in boxing and baseball. I think our situation is a handicap and we are very good at overcoming it. It sharpens our skills in a number of areas. We use a more mysterious and creative side of the brain than right handers. I am talking about true leftys here. The ones that do almost everything with their left hand IF they are allowed to- writing, throwing, etc. Right handers simply outnumber us and don't take us into consideration when they are designing things. We do a great job beating them at their own game though.

I just got "Band On The Run" and "Hotel California" and not only am I blown away by the fact that my equipment will play it but the fact that they sound fantastic. How is it that a U.S. citizen born and raised here doesn't qualify for state benefits as easily as an illegal or legal immigrant? I'm not against a person coming to better their life or leaving to better their life. I don't hate anyone and I try not to judge but I find it very frustrating that I don't even qualify for medical help because I was born here and I make "too much" according to their rules and standards. It's very sad to me that we don't care about our own hardworking, law abiding, born and raised citizens just a bit more. (Not that immigrants don't work hard or abide by the laws) I love everyone I'm just confused.....

Do you want your man to stop looking at pornography and going to Gentleman's clubs? He does it because the women are paid to act. He knows he'll never sleep with the large silicone breasts at Girls Girls Girls, but he pays her to be attracted to him. If he knows that's fake, then he won't mind if you fake the 'desire for sex' either. Come on strong and he won't have any reason to look elsewhere for entertainment.
