I'm interested in what people think today of how popular music has changed.There used to be music that was written and composed with creativity and emotion . Mostly now , it is made with computers , taking little or no creative ability . Lifting a bar ( segment of music that usually lasts 4 beats) and repeating it over and over . A repitition of 1 musical phrase . Most rock now has no guitar solos,due to lack of the publics' appreiciation for vertuois abilty .The songs dont have them , I believe , because they cant play solos. Dont get me wrong , I like alot of the latest rock .It just seems that alot of music has taken a formulaic, simple , and easy way to make money .Forgoing the real strength that music can convey , through genuine heart-felt song writing. To me a , real artist is someone that makes music with true capability of talent , not taking a a segment of another song , and saying "Hey Thanks , Im so talented !" Audience dont listening anymore , they consume.

I know exactly what your talking about none sings with feeling anymore noone has a strong voice ,and none makes a song that means anything where is the heart in the music nowadays its all about making money but is there someone who does it because they love what they do what it stands for and how good it feels to express yourselves through it
