I was just informed that I might have to have a surgery to remove my gall bladder. The test results come back today and we find out. My question is this.... does anyone on here know what the surgery involves? Will I be in alot of pain afterwards? I have asked the doctor these things, but of course being a doctor they just say the same thing.... you'll be fine and have very little pain. I would like some honest answers from someone who has gone through this sort of thing. If I do have to have it out will I have to change my diet to a certain way of eating? This is all new to me. I would appreciate any advice you can give.

I have been with the same guy for 9 years and he use to ask me all the time to marry him but I was happy the way we were. I thought why mess up things when they are fine the way they are. Now 9 years and 2 kids later he absolutly refuses to marry me. I would really like to have the same last name as my kids. And my daughter is starting to ask why her and I have different last names. Should I give up. Is it why buy the cow cause the milk is free type of thing. Please someone give me good advise.

I had an arrangement with Capital One to pay the minimum charge whilst I was ill - they added every single charge to my account during this time. I have tried in vain to get some explanation from them but now I just get abusive threatening phone calls from them. So in effect I could not catch up with payments and extra charges. All other creditors were understanding and actively helped me. I know I have to pay something and have the address of their Head Office. Any advice please? I would be most grateful

I had my dvd player, which is a surround sound unit, plugged into a power strip, along with the tv, cell phone charger, and a lamp. My roomate plugged in my laptop to charge it, and we heard a very loud noise and both the tv and the dvd player stopped working. I really dont care about the tv b/c i had just bought it two hours before this happened and it is under warranty, but the dvd player is very nice and is a little older. I took it apart and noticed that it has a fuse, but it looked ok. Any advice?
