I am sorry to say this, but some people say that when you dream of pregnancy, it means that someone in you family will soon die.. I hope this isn't true, but that is the folk lore.

Well, it depends. In your dream, what was your reaction? If you were happy, then it sounds like you want a baby. If you were upset in any way, then you're scared of getting pregnant. I honestly believe that dreams are a reflection to our inner most hopes and fears. However, interpreting them is the tricky part.

I had a dream once that I was pregnant and I found out a few days later that I was indeed pregnant. But it doesn't mean that you are. I'm just saying from personal experience. I wouldn't obsess over it though. Sometimes dreams are just dreams and make so sense at all. either way, I hope you discover what it means to you.

It means that you want to become pregnant. But do not have a stable relationship to discuss your feelings so you are just dreaming instead of following the dream in reality.

dream about at times.

If you're actually in a situation where you are financially stable, have a dedicated partner and are taking good care of your health, your dream of pregnancy might echo your real life dreams. If you are actively trying to get pregnant, those aims and desires would echo in your dream world.

On the other hand, most women and men who are sexually active are actively trying NOT to get pregnant. They enjoy the fun of intimacy but do not have the large amounts of time or money raising a child entail. In that case, the pregnancy can indicate a worry about impending trouble. You can of course be worried about a literal pregnancy happening - or the pregnancy could just be a symbol for general trouble or disruption on the horizon.

If you are younger and not yet sexually active, you might be dreaming about a stage of growing up. Many young people imagine what it would be like to be married, to have kids of their own. To them, dreaming of pregnancy would be about the great work involved in that transition - to go from being cared for to being on your own and being responsible for others.

This is some info i found...

If you are a younger woman who dreams of getting pregnant, but has no waking intention of doing so, it is likely that you are working through an archetypal transition into a new self-awareness. One of Jung's archetypes is the archetype of parenting or preserving the species. To see oneself engaged in such activity is to grow from being a child to identifying more prominently with adults.

.If you are sexually active, but without the intention for pregnancy, your dreams of pregnancy may occur in harmony with your monthly cycle. In these dreams, there may be a certain amount of "what-if" anxiety that needs resolution.

Well, if it was a happy dream, then you are looking forward to the future and raising a family.

If it felt like a nightmare, than you are probably worried about accidentally getting pregnant.

You are subconciously telling yourself 1) you want a baby or 2) you are already pregnant. If neither, then just chalk it up to just another dream.
