What are you deepest fears? What chills you to the bone? A scary movie? Halloween? Why do we love being scared?

I love the unknown. Do you wonder what waits for you on the other side of death's door? I do. Maybe it's a cold and lonely world, unlike the heaven we teach our children about. I ponder these things a lot of the time. Death is not beautiful. Death is not our friend. I sense a cold winter chill whenever I visit the graveyards or speak of the dead. There is something haunted there in the shallow ground. There is something electric in the air. Can you feel it?

My husband only has one sister and I have one brother...we are going to get our new baby baptised and both feel that his sister and my brother would make sense being the Godparents. How do I deal with my best friend who is like a sister to me that she isn't going to be?

has many things that are affecting his sleep, but want to help him get better rest.Has a new baby brother(3mos old-he sleeps great, toddler usually wakes him up),they have seperate bedrooms.Top molars have broken through, might be getting bottom ones (give him Tylenol).Might be having nightmares. No longer naps, but he does have alone time. I put him to bed between 6 and 7 after bath, books, a sippy cup of milk (which I'd like to stop if you have any suggestions on that too), prayers, then hugs and kisses.Room is darkened (right now with blankets, I have to get the room darkening shades).Wakes up a few times through the night then gets up for good between 5 and 6 am.Has a gate on his room, so most of the time he plays nice for an hour of so.Have tried putting him to bed later, but still wakes up too early and becomes overtired. His diet is pretty well rounded plus he gets a multivitamin. Not yet potty trained (just not ready).Watches some tv during the day. just looking for any suggestion

I am a nursing mother, trying to loose about 15 lbs of baby weight. My problem is I am tired of drinking water! All I drink is water. I do not drink soda, I don't like crystal light, but I want to have more options. What other drinks can I drink that does not have tons of sugar(which I totally hate), and is not a flavored water? Please help......!!!!

I tried telling her that I like to hear from her but would rather hear what's going on in her life. But all I seem to get is inspirational stories about preemies, gas boycott notices, pseudo-patriotic essays, etc. etc.

I don't want to make her mad...any suggestions as to some polite words or actions to take?

Three months ago I asked the question: "If you had to make the decision to save a newborn child or save an endangered species who would you save?" I also added a sidebar of, "what if," that child was Hitler and by killing him as a child, you would save countless human lives.... would you kill a child?

Beside the fact of what a person thinks about this question. Should it not be my right of "free speech", even if my opinion offends someone?

I will add I have no idea why Yahoo, (unless in cases of threats to another person) censor yahoo answers (the yahoo rules totally violate any Idea of "free speech")

I've been experiencing sciatica for the first time in my life (I'm 24), and my best educated guess so far of the cause is a herniated disc, and I was just wondering, if that's the cause, will the disc heal itself? If so, in what time frame? and what can I do to encourage that?

Or is this something that's just going to bug me off and on for the rest of my life?

I appreciate any insights
