15 of them were Saudis. The only people who have a hard time discussing this fact is the Bush family. George W. and his family have been in business with the Saudi's for over 30 years now. What with all the propaganda Bush and Cheney give out I would say 50% of Americans do not have a clue. Evil continues via the Bush administration on a daily basis. Vote in Nov 06 and 08.

First off, your question speaks leap and bounds of your ignorance. That is not an insult, just a fact. What you should consider before asking a question is to become more informed and have a better understanding of the subject at hand.
1) The Nationality of the hijackers is irrelevant. The cause and purpose of that particular group had nothing to do with the nationality. The group was wrong in what they did...they could of been purple and from Mars and it wouldn't of made it right their actions. Their cause and purpose is what you should be identifying. I may be considered "White", but that doesn't make me KKK.
2) The so called "Bushes" are not in bed with the fore mentioned "group" who's cause and purpose is wrong. So, to imply that "Saudis" cause and purpose is the same as the hijackers group is wrong. "Bushes" is to general a statement and to apply that anyone of the "Bushes'" groups are in bed with terrorist is wrong. "Bushes" are Americans too and they have the right to be "Bushes" and stand for what they believe in, as long as they follow the rules of what America stands for.
This is not a opinion - it is a fact that your categorizing of groups is just as bad as the "Hijackers" categorizing of Americans and the free world - that group, the "hijackers" -- "felt" they were justified based on ignorance. The same ignorance you are using now. Should kinda makes you wonder - what would you be like if you were in the hijackers shoes with your way of thinking?
NOTE: As for the ignorant statement "oil" - if that were the case America would over run are biggest importer of oil --- which is not the Middle East. The oil statement is ignorance x10, actually, what a bunch of "bumbling idiots" always coming up with ignorant excuse for subjects they know nothing about.

The Bush family has ties to oil and yes they are friends with the Saudi's but what bugs me is the fact that there isn't a major push to replace oil as the god that we have made it. There are plenty of forms of alternative fuels available but there has not been too many initiatives from the government to push any of these into the limelight. What about all of the car manufacturers that we have heard stories about over the years with inventions that have been shelved because they have been devices that would cut gas consumption in half. Are all of these bogus or are they still being kept in the big warehouse so that our dependency on oil is maintained?

Their nationality is not the dominant factor. If it was, then all Americans are mass murderers based on a handful of bad seeds. I give you Ted Bundy, Charles Manson and Jeffrey Dahmer. These men were all Americans. They were all mass murderers who preyed on defenseless and unsuspecting people - as did the terrorists on 11 September 2001.
Once you can see the big picture, you will see that it was not the nationality they claim as their own that made them what they were. They were extremists. They fought a war that had not been declared by any government of any country. They were bad seeds that thought alike.
The only difference between the terrorists of 11 September 2001 and the Ted Bundys, Charles Mansons and Jeffrey Dahmers of the world is that they found each other and worked in unison.

Uh, the Saudis are our friends. The Saudis have oil. It was just a few bad apples. What do you mean an oppressive religion-based monarchy isn't open and representative government? They're our allies, so we give them lots of money. And no dictator or king who was our ally who also received money from us has ever turned against the U.S.
