My son was just sentenced to the Illinois Department of Corrections and I have so many questions. I wish I knew someplace to ask my questions and talk to others who have children inside prison. It's so hard to get information from the prison system and it's very confusing. Do you know anyplace I can go for answers and some support from others, especially those with family in IDOC. I don't even know where to begin. Please help me.

My son is 13 and he met this boy who is 20 from a family friend who happens to live with them. This 20 year old likes hanging out with my son alot. They are always talking on the phone and this 20 year old is always wanting to spend time with my son. I have a feeling there is more to this but am I wrong? Only once in my life before today had to go to a funeral for a very close friend. It was expected with my other friend though because she had no kidneys. This one came as a complete shock to me. She died on Friday today was her viewing and funeral now she is off to be cremated. I cried all week at the thought that she had died last week and was just sitting there in the funeral home. I went as a family member because I have been with her ex brother in law and all of her neices and nephews and her own son call me aunt. I have been with their uncle for about eight years and everyone knows who I am. Everyday my friend Vicky would call me and would say hey whats up *****. Or what are you doing and we would talk for hours sometimes. I couldn't visit her very often because I don't drive because I have seizures and would have to get a ride over to her house. may be the problem. The instructions in the dark room was to add 2oz of devloper and 8 oz of water per roll of film. Being I alreayd mixed it in a gallon does that mean I diluted it too much. The film is still somewhat purple.
