Sure. Everyone has some feelings for their first love. But they vary. You could have feelings of sadness, unrequited love, nostalgia, hatred, fondness...it all depends on the person. But more often than not, you get over it, you move on, and if you happen to look back on those times you think what fun it was to discover love for the first time...

I still have feelings for mine, and it's been nearly 20 years. They are more nostalgic feelings, not feelings of being in love with this person. Just a memory of simpler, even crazy times spent together as youth. I'm glad for the time we had together even though at the time when we moved on from another, it really hurt. Life's like that. You take the good with the bad and reflect on it all you move forward. In a sense, you never leave that person behind.

My hubby still has fond memories of his first love, though he acknowledges that being with her today is something he cannot fathom. I feel the same way about my first love.

I do "yes" I have been broken up with my ex for over 4 yrs now and honestly I dont think there is a day that goes by that I dont think of him for at least a second. I had a really, I mean really bad break up with him and I should be hating him for all that he did to me but for some reason I always find myself thinking about him. Now let me make my self clear, I will never in a million years date him again but I guess you cant erase the past.

It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone -- but it takes a lifetime to forget someone.
Trying to forget someone you loved is like trying to remember someone you never knew
you never really stop loving someone. you just learn to try to live without them
First loves...that’s exactly what they are...those are the ones that introduced you to everything, made you love them, loved you back, and also broke your heart. But no matter how hurt you are, you’ll always love them. Always...they’ll stay with you forever. And not only will you not notice it, but deep down you will compare every other girl to her. And none of them will live up...because she was your first love. Then after months of letting go...when you finally think you are okay with letting her go, you'll hear "your" song...or see a movie...or something that reminds you of how much she meant to you and how much you really loved her and realize you’re not completely over her and never will be.

I don't know about everyone but I can tell you that I will always have feelings for my first love even though I have not seen him in over 25 years.

I dont think that its really they have feelings for their first love, but more so just the memory of the feeling they *had with them.
I no longer feel anything for my first love, but still, i do think of him and miss the good times that we had.
It doesnt *always* happen though. Depending on their situation with their 'first love'

If it's their first love, I would say yes, for a person who has
feelings. Usually in this scenario, both of them will be caring,
honest and understanding to each other, until something like
'cheating' happens to one of them (usually involves sexual
encounter with others). The trust and love will become more
suspicious between them, so much so they both break-up the
relationship.

I would say, most likely....I am 47 now, and my first love was when I was in high school @ 16. We dated for 3 years. I think of him from time to time. I ran into him a couple of years ago, and we gave eachother a hug!

Well I married my first love and we were married for 14 years. It was a happy marriage and the internet messed it up. Now things are very different and the woman that has him doesnt deserve the way he treats a woman.

I did, even though it has been 15 years, I still think of him time to time with a little smile and reminise. It's no where close to love anymore...now just a nice memory. Feelings do change with time.
