I am absolutely, knocked on my butt, sick as a dog. To top it off, my husband and I invited six friends for lunch at our house today and we are packing to move in two weeks. BUT. . . The kicker. . .I had to cancel last week as my nephew stayed with us and I couldn't get him going fast enough. 5 of the 6 friends would understand. The sixth would have his feelings hurt and think that because of my manic depression, I am cancelling, which isn't true.

(I'm asking for a friend of mine, she doesn't use this) my friend is 3 months late etting her period, all the pregnancy tests she took came out negative. she can't go to the doctor because she has mcdonald's medical coverage, and it only covers her if she is sent to the emergency room... any ideas i'm really concerned for her.... and yes she wants to be pregnant!

I cheated on a very special girl as it wasn't going well for a few months due to stress from both of us, we both knew there were problems but did not talk and we put on act in front of everyone. it was not planned and I let down my guard and got roped into a situation i could get out of, (my fault entirely not looking for sympathy!) I confessed that i cheated and talked in great depth , we finished but have started seeing each other as friends and are getting on as friends really well (the laughing, the fun, the pleaseure to be with is back!) I know i've betrayed her, lost her respect and that of her family who meant the world to me.

I know everybody says "once a cheat, always a cheat and you did it for a reason, but is this true and should i write this off entirely.

I care for but dont want to upset her.

has this worked for others and no i'm not generally a bad person, and could do without bitter girlfriends or wives with plenty to say.

Republicans truly have no shame:

When Catherine Herold received mail from the Ohio Republican Party earlier this year, she refused it.
The longtime Barberton Democrat wanted no part of the mailing and figured that by refusing it, the GOP would have to pay the return postage.

What she didn't count on was the returned mail being used to challenge the validity of her voter registration.

Herold,who is assistant to the senior vice president and provost at the University of Akron,was one of 976 Summit County voters whose registrations were challenged last week by local Republicans on behalf of the state party.

She went to the Board of Elections on Thursday morning to defend her right to vote and found herself among an angry mob -- people who had to take time off work to defend their right to vote.

After hearing some of the protests, the board voted unanimously to dismiss all 976 challenges.


Here's the procedure. The Republicans send a registered letter from the Republican party to the address of a Democrat. The Democrat, not wanting to stand in line in the post office to get Republican propaganda, never signs for the letter. The Republicans then use the Democrat's failure to get the letter to challenge her eligibility to vote, on the theory that it "proves" she no longer lives at that address. That's beneath contempt -- which is exactly what the Republicans feel for democracy. Consider this exchange from the hearing, involving one of the Republicans who filed the challenges:

The angry voters had the Republicans on the defensive.
"Why'd you do it?'' one challenged voter shouted out at Calhoun. "Who the hell are you?'' the man asked.

"What the hell do you care?'' replied Calhoun, an attorney.


What the hell does she care? Perhaps she cares about exercising her right to vote, the U.S. being (ostensibly) a democracy and all.

The people filing the challenges should be prosecuted and sent to jail. The challenge forms explicitly state that filing a false challenge is a felony.

Before I get the bashing of my life for even considering getting involved with a married woman, let me give you a little background. I met this woman 7 months ago... after talking for awhile I realized that she had some marital (physical) abuse and she had only been married for a little over a month. The day I met her she said she was getting a uhaul truck and leaving before her husband returned home from a trip. She also mentioned that her husband was fired from his job for having a female co-worker in his hotel room and he was charged with sexual harrassment. She said she was very unhappy and wanted to leave but was scared he might do something to her or himself. She has continued to see me and claim's she hates her life when she is not with me. She tells me she loves me more than anyone in her life and she is not "in love" with her husband anymore and feels her family would disown her if she got divorced. It's hard to walk away from her...what should WE do? do I walk away?

this is how my hands look after just a few minutes in water (see photos), and they hurt too (washing my hair is a torture!) The skin gets totally wrinkly and dry. Looks a little bit like pergament. I got pmmon yesterday despite having avg and prevx installed. I have downloaded counterspy which claimed to be able to deal whith this bug.
