this is how my hands look after just a few minutes in water (see photos), and they hurt too (washing my hair is a torture!) The skin gets totally wrinkly and dry. Looks a little bit like pergament. What is it and what can I do against it??? I have allready tried handcream. Please serious answers only!!!!!

Everyone's hands get wrinkled in water...yours seems to be a little worse than normal...because it shouldn't happen so quickly. I would ask a doctor about it. I think you are iron deficient. Which could mean you are dieting to hard. Good luck.

You need to go see a dermatologist and soon. I had a friend who was having that happen to him. I don't remember what it was called but it can lead to other serious health problems. The doctor will most likely put you on some medicine and also give you a special cream to use. I hope you get better fast.

I really have no idea what is wrong. It could be an allergy to your soaps, detergents,etc. You could try wearing gloves when washing dishes or even showering. However, you do need to see a dermatologist. If you go, make sure you have just washed dishes, etc, so that he can see what they look like after these activities. Good luck.

u may have a skin infection or something but everyones hands get like that in water

You could have psoriasis, or even dermatitis, you should have your skin checked out by the doctor.

it is bc every time you put your hands in water and leave them there they gets all wrinkly bc the water get down inside them.Does it happen every time?
