If Americans learned something in school, their mentality would not be questioned so often.

No one has a blame Americans first mentality. Many people do believe in punishing the people who make the mistake, however.

Many people that don't believe in punishing the people who make the mistake believe that some Americans have a blame America first mentality.

Be careful not to join the later category.

Hey answer dude, I am part of the hippie generation, but I served during Vietnam, my kid served in Iraq. I love my country. I was very naive during my younger years. I am not pro war. I am anti terrorist. Some bastards attacked my country and killed my country men and women and children. They will not get away with that! I remember 9/11 I will not forget what they did. Some people want to bury their head in the sand and believe that there is good in everyone. There is nothing good about someone who kills innocent people. Targeting them. They aren't in some cave some where they are all over the world. They are here in the states. They are trying to recruit Americans to fight for their cause. They are kings of propaganda. A lot of people here are buying into that. It's very scary. When they blame America first it just emboldens the terrorist to keep fighting. The terrorists have said we were weak. When things got tough we would run. They have laughed at our weakness.

The disillusion from Richard Nixon has forever tainted our leadership structure.
Sadly, he was not the only one. With the amount of information available in today's world, it is not surprising that our government is in even more trouble.

One of the more disturbing results of our leader's political tactics is the polarization of the people at large. Dems vs. Repubs. Liberals vs. (Neo-)Conservatives. Pro-Lifers vs. Pro-Choice. In reality, most Americans are not completely one-sided on any particular issue.

Both sides are to blame on this particular subject. How could this have turned out any other way? After decades of demonizing the lables of one side or the other, our leaders have divided the country into a tremendously unhealthy 'Us vs. Them' mentality.

Consider, using '04 Election Republicans for an example of the tactics, one of the slogans that he used in his last campaign was the famous "You're either with us, or you are with the terrorists." Aside from being a powerful motivator, it also enforces the wedge between two groups while, at the same time, associating the one side with terrorists. 20 years ago, being called a Conservative was about as bad as being called a Liberal in today's world.

The puritan (Church of england) mentality died approximately 3 hundred years in the past. Our us of a replaced into after that ruled with the help of the separatists (freedom of religion and freedom of concept). The separatists have been the unique mayflower people yet by twist of fate (or layout) Puritans have been forcibly further while they arrived in England. The Separtists have been English exiles who have been coming from Dutch territory. subsequently the Mayflower Compact got here approximately with the aid of fact the Separatists did no longer have faith those Puritans whom they have been coming to united statesa. to flee. The Separatists weren't going to enable the deliver land till the Puritans signed a paper asserting they weren't in cost. The King gave the Puritans administration some years later and the separatists moved out. The succeeding King gave the Separatists administration of Conn. and RI. and the The King gave them the form they asked for, "freedom of religion for every person". Banned in Boston replaced into basically that purely in Boston till they ultimately lost capacity. something of the desert replaced into Separatist. This Separatist custom carried forward. the style between the two communities immediately could be like evaluating the Taliban (Puritans) and Mennonites (Separatists). The separatists wore the latest trend multi colored outfits and have been given alongside with the Indians. In King Phillips (Indian) war the separatists suffered the main as they have been the easy remoted (white) objectives out interior the desert. immediately you may locate it stressful to comprehend what they have been asserting as they spoke in bible as against and each sentence blanketed some connection with god and his creation. The Separatists believed, particularly believed, that god replaced into speaking to them to make a sparkling international in united statesa.. They believed this new international could strengthen right into a "shining beacon on the hill" for all oppressed people. The left places Puritan Values on something they're against. it rather is the Left that has the puritan cost of forcing on yet another group some thing that they do no longer have faith. If gays prefer to get married circulate get married yet do no longer stress different people to settle for it.

It's like the big mouthed Hollywood left...They give 5 million dollars to some cause, out of the 50 million they have...But they want you to give "TILL IT HURTS"...When they step up to the plate and give 45 million of their 50 million then I might pay attention...It is not the people of America that are the "cause" of the conditions of third world countries,...only the leaders of those countries and their spokespersons (Hollywoods Left), and the U.S. democrats....Who want to shame the rest of us for their unbelievable, inproportionate riches, and take their "GUILT" away.
