My partner hasnt worked for a considerable amount of time due to a disability. We dont share the same house but we divide our time between both houses. It makes sense not to live with each other right now due to financial problems. I have however, been supporting him financially and what money he does get, he does contribute. He is also in the process of looking for work and has just applied for a good position with a well known employer. My question is, is it wrong to support him if we dont actually "Live" together. I know he isnt taking advantage of me as he helps me out in a lot of ways including household duties for me etc and the decorating. He has also been looking after me whilst i was ill and i stayed at his with my son and he looked after the both of us. My family say i am wrong to but i know if he had money, he would contribute even more. Am i just being paranoid??

I am building a deck outside my living room am\nd the dimensions are 8' wide by 24' long.It is 14' up at the highest point as I am on a hill. I'm using 2 by 6 joists with 2 by 12 headers. Here is what I want to do: someone told me to use a 1/4 in slope over 8 ft. for water run off. I want to tile the deck. Iwant to know what size plywood I should use and if there is some kind of waterproof fibreboard I can use as a base for the tile in lieu of laying down rubber for the base. I dont want sand or pitch due to the weight factor. Is there something fairly lightweight and waterproof suitable for a base for the tile? If so what is it called? and where can i get it? Thanks.

Tank has been set up for 2 weeks before I put the fish in last night. It was swimming around this morning and then an hour a go I found it floating. Are the bubbles on the top of the tank part of a problem?? My son wants a new fish but I do not want another one to die on him.

To be specific, you should flush the toilet and wait until the toilet starts to refill and then dump the stubble in the toilet bowl. Stubble climbs up the sides of the bowl everytime! This appears to demonstrate that WATER FLOWS UPHILL!

Robert Samuelson recently wrote in his Washington Post column that "Hispanics account for most of the increase in poverty" since 1990. "Compared with 1990, there were actually 700,000 fewer non-Hispanic whites in poverty last year . . . . Meanwhile, the number of poor Hispanics is up by 3 million since 1990. The health insurance story is similar. Last year 13 million Hispanics lacked insurance. They're 60 percent of the rise since 1990." And of course a growing proportion of the Hispanic population is immigrants poorer than their predecessors. Samuelson remarks that the black poverty rate in this period has actually dropped, from 32 to 24 percent.

my ex-boyfriend's not a bad guy.. he can be a complete idiot and perv but he's not all bad. he doesn't go to the same school that i do, but i see him fairly often at parties, and it's when i see him that i fall for him. i just saw him at a party yesterday.. i tried to avoid him and i didn't talk to him at all. my friends said he was staring at me the whole time.

i'm ok when i dont see him. i know i've got tons of other important things to focus on, and i feel so stupid for only thinking about my ex for the past few hours. i don't want to fall for him.. i don't mind remaining friends but i don't want to fall for him. help on getting over this?

I plan to be buried in the same clothes that I was born in. They'll probably be pretty wrinkly after wearing them for so many years, I've washed them a few times but I've never ironed them. (Ouch!) I'm wondering if God or anyone in heaven is going to mind. I figure that it will make for one more outfit to donate to Goodwill or the Salvation Army and since some people have told me that where I'm actually going to end up is pretty 'damned' warm, I figure there's no point in bringing along any more clothes than are absolutely necessary.

But seriously, have you ever considered for yourself or do you know of anyone who was buried nude? Covered only with a white sheet and perhaps only with face and arms showing during the funeral and visitation? Novel? Interesting? Disgusting? Preverted? Demented?

It has always been a dream of mine to staudy abroad for a summer in college, or a winter.. whatever.. I am probably gonna be studying education, teacher prep, that kninda thing. My boyfriend and I were playing basketball with his friend and one of my girlfriends.. My boyfriend was pressuring me to win, when I wasn't even that good in basketball and he knows it. But- then, we lost. And he was pissed off, and he just went off to go watch his friends play volley ball. He never does this- is he dissapointed in me? Do I have to meet his expectations? Why can't he accept that we lost one game, and it's not the end of the world?
