There is going to be a major major push by the Democratic party. Unfortunately, I have a feeling that they will dwell on the countless errors of the current administration, and it could be their downfall. If they focus to much on this, the next republican candidates can just simply side step it and say, yeah we could do a little better and we intend to.
This country needs to have someone who is a little closer to the middle and not so grounded in party issues...someone with a brain in their head that can adjust their opinion when the facts change. Unfortunately, this will be a difficult battle because of what the Republicans created in the last campaign...the term Flip Flopper came out. A smart person will change their opinion based on the facts at hand (if the facts tell a different story than the previous), but then they are tagged as Kerry was.
I would love to see Barack Obama make a run...that man is smooth!
GO BLUE!

Republicans. Who would be stupid enough to vote for a Democrat that will scrape and bow before any other countrys threats and give in/sell out before every deadline. Democrats have NO backbone. Besides the fact that THEY cannot AGREE on any course of action, they are TOO divided by their own petty squabbles and trying to tell/make everyone live the way they think they should live.....and they CANNOT even decide what THAT is!

Doubt the Republicans will even try to run. Waste of space on a ballot.

i don't know. both parties are very divided right now, and nobody is 100% happy with things. if an independent runs, it'll be a disaster.
