It's called "Mutually Consenting Adults". If there is no harm and you both know what you're doing...

If you're in a permanent relationship with someone, don't do the friends with benefits "on the side". In this day and age, it's just unfair to put him/her at risk or deceive them in any way. If you're "available", that is not seriously dating someone else, friends with benefits can be more open to all types of communication and help you grow as a person.

I never had the desire to have a friend with benefits ... needless to say I really prefer to have sex that has meaning as well in a commited relationship. To each its own however..

I've had friends w/benefits, a few years back. It was fun, the sex was great, blah, blah, blah.
Someone always takes it a little more serious , and it falls out of balance. Fun for a while, but has a lot of complications.

I've done it. Was an old ex from many years back. Was great for me until he started wanting to be with me again, and he had a girlfriend! (I was single at the time.) Not wrong to do unless someone is married. Was great for me...scratched an itch without meeting someone just for sex that I didn't really know.

It's not all that exciteing...I don't see how it could be all that wrong....but sooner or later the "no strings attached" part turns into stronger feelings and puts a strain on the friends part....trust me it happens!!!

I have had one before. But its not as bad as everyone made it sound. I wasn't with anyone else at the time and niether was he. Neither of us wanted a relationship at the time. We always used protection and when one of us got involved with someone else, we stopped seeing each other.

How many? Just two of us - me and that other person - the one with multiple accounts.
Wrong? Define 'wrong' Clintonian-style.
