I've heard a lot of explanations that creationists have for the term "theory", all of them come from a position of ignorance or just plain stupidity.
Here is an explanation, in the simplest terms ( just for you creationists, I know we have to keep things VERY simple for you) of the word, 'theory';
A theory is an explanation. The validity of a theory rests upon its ability to explain phenomena. Theories may be supported, rejected, or modified, based on new evidence. Gravitational theory, for example, attempts to explain the nature of gravity. Cell theory explains the workings of cells. Evolutionary theory explains the history of life on Earth.

So you see that there are no laws in Science. Even gravity has no law. (Newton wrote his own "laws" but they are not accepted by modern scientists) nor does relativity or thermodynamics. They are theories and will always remain so.
The same applies to Evolution.
That means something can be true, and a theory at the same time.
Understand?

Song #1
I've been sittin' here,
Tryin' to find myself,
I get behind myself,
I need to rewind myself....

Song#2
When the night has come,
And the land is dark,
And the moon is the only light we'll see.....

Song #3
Bury me softly in this tomb,
I give this part of me to you,
Sand rains down and here I sit,
Hlding rare flowers in a tomb....in bloom

Song #4
Screams break the silence,
Waking from the dead of night,
Vengence is boiling,
He's returned to kill the light,
Then when he's found who he's looking for,
Listen in awe and you'll hear him....

Song #5
Kickin' as I'm tryin' to sleep,
Got the mud beneath my shoes,
Rubber band, rubberband,
Gun in hand, gun in hand,
I wanna use......

If you can get all 5 songs and bands, I salute you (and give you 10 points! Hippiechick, my money's on you!)
As you can see, quite a variety (even a 50s song, who woulda thought?)

The Bible says so:

"These things I have written unto you that believe in the name of the Son of God that you may KNOW THAT YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE..." (I John 5:13)

"And this is the record : That God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son". (I John 5:11)

I figure its pretty normal for the average person to have thoughts running through their head, but in my case it is non-stop racing thoughts that are uncontrollable and it really distracts me from focusing and getting things accomplished. These thoughts in my head are sometimes completely random or sometimes they are relevant to whatever I am doing at the time. I also have a hard time falling asleep at night since my mind will never completely shut off. This has been going on for me for as long as I can remember and I never really thought of it as a mental illness. At this point I’m trying to do a little research and maybe someone can lead me in the right direction on what they believe my illness is.

Sister has no children, married a man who just won custody of his 5 children. The man can not read or write. My sister has to help all 5 children with their homework each night. It takes several hours each evening because they range in age from about 6 to 19 years old. When they have questions about schools, or when they need to be registered or when a teacher needs to meet with a parent my sister is expected to handle all of this. She helps them in the AM to get off to school. Husband leaves for work at 5am returning at 1am. The real problem is that her car broke down. They had limited money. She's not working currently. He told her to donate her car to charity (tax w/o) and he would fix up one of his 3 broken cars and give it to her because that was cheaper. She complied. The cars all are still broken down. If she asks to borrow his car he says no b/c he doesn't want anything to happen to it. She has never been at fault in an accident not even a speeding ticket. He's had many. Input?

We hear so much about the casualties of the Twin Towers in NY but there was barely any coverage of the people in the planes who were taken hostage and crashed into the buildings?

Were there any survivors from the planes?

For as long as I can remember I have always had a problem of the outside of text and images being cut off. I thought it was because my monitor was too small but now I have a 21" monitor and still the same problem.
An example, when I open all programs I cannot see the bottom one. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
I tried adjusting the monitors settings but it doesnt help.
Plus the arrow disappears on the right and bottom but not the left and top.

I have read conflicting stories on this subject. I personally wear one 98% of the time. Besides the fact that my breast aren't "droopy" , I believe due to this habit, I don't have Breast problems. I have regular mammos and everything is good. I "heard" that wearing a bra constantly constricts the lymphnodes causing them to "back up" and swell and harden. Possibly causing the dreaded Breast Ca. I work for a Cancer Institute and have been told that there has to be a tremendous amount of pressure on the lymphnodes to cause any of the said effects. I tend to concur on this but was wondering what others have heard and if it is still possible? The upside is that the breasts are firmer from years of wearing a bra constantly even after 3 kids. My oldest is 21. So in 21yrs I have not developed Breast Ca. Has anyone heard of potential danger?

In any case, I think im introverted, and I really don't talk a lot. Most of my relationships have ended after 4-5 months. How can I keep talkign without feeling akward and losing ideas?

Darwin's theory has been used to justify the kill-or-be-killed mentality of life being not much more that a "survival of the fittest." My question is this: When you see people supporting war and the obvious murdering of people through war, does this provide evidence that Darwin is right and life for HUMAN BEINGS (not talking about animals here) is no greater than a survival of the fittest?

I'm on the progesterone only pill, and in the notes it says that if you forget a pill one day, you should carry on taking them the next day or as soon as you remember and not have un protected sex for about 6 days to avoid pregnancy.
Yet it says that if you want to finish taking the pill and try for a child you need to be off the pill for about 3 months. So if you have to wait 3 months..... why would it matter if you just forgot one pill?
Tad confusing isnt it?

Well last night I went to the bar & I saw that he was DJing & when I saw that it was him in the DJ booth I wanted to kiss him! That's not like me as I'm shy. I knew that he was prob younger than me too. I found out last night that he's 21. I'm 26...going on 27! Usually it matters to me cuz I think that 21's too young. Well I decided to go & tell him that I was interested in him that night when we were standing outside my apt. I said, "I kinda wanna tell you something..even tho there are a lot of factors." I told him that I was moving to the city eventually & that maybe he wouldn't care & that the timing mighta been wrong. He told me "I have a gf" so I felt dumb for bringing it up. Felt kinda embarassed. During a slow song (I told him 10 min b/f the bar was closing) & I started to cry! :$ I told him that the song was making me sad. I said that it was cuz I broke up w/ my bf 3 mos ago & that it's too bad that it'd never work. He tried to find the right words to say. I think that part of
