iam a person of a middle eastern origin & i wanted to come to the uk to do my master's degree and maybe work afterwards. i recently watched a british tv channel called sky news and they were talking about racism in the uk saying that it is on the rise this got me really scared . so is it safe for me to come to the uk ?? will i feel racial discrimination ??

I see in Borneo huge areas of forrest are being cut down to grow plantations that produced Palm Oil. As i look on the ingreedients and see it is in many of many products the suppermarkets i wonder will people stop buying this as it's production is causing so much devistation around the world and it is bad for our health anyway. Will people reading this start boycotting such products, so we dont cause exstinction to many of the speciese that used to live in areas where such products are being dished out from and will be dished out from if we continue to buy.

My girlfriend is very happy girl.She catched a medium-size alive grasshoper in the field.That grasshoper was merely jumping around the field.We observed him.Immediately she told me:"look,what I will do" and she put the alive grasshoper into her mouth, closed her mouth very slowly and swallowed the grasshoper alive and unharmed.She put her hand on the buttom of her throat and it was gone . . . the alive grasshoper slided down her throat.She smiled and opened her mouth,it was empty,then she put her hand on her tummy and told me with a smile that alive grasshoper is here now.Then she told me not to worry because she would easily digest it but I feel very sorry for poor alive grasshoper she will die in a few minutes and should I ask her to vomit him?She told me that if I will ask she will vomit him but I don't know what to do. 2-3 minutes passed after it.How much time will he be alive? She kissed me and told that she will do whatever I wish, so please suggest something quickly please.

I don't know if this is common everywhere but in this part of Michigan it seems to be. I (and most everyone I know) went to school 5 half days a week, but my son goes full day on Tuesday, Half day on Wednesday and then a full day on Friday. What is the reasoning behind this?

Blue Cross canceled my health Insurance which was a PPO type that was through my spouse's Work Place That Started in 1/1995 and I am Disabled while together with my spouse under the same insurance plan. Doctors ordered me bed rest! I have no Attorney no money my spouce had taken all of our cars moneys. I need help I know, I can only hope's up! The letter my heath insurance sent looked to me like my spouce's job office manager told Blue Cross of our divorce which is not final yet. What can I do Please Help Thank you.....

my bf and i broke up with him and then he visited me a couple of times before my school started since i thought he was going to another univerity than me.the coincidence is that we ran into each other a couple of days ago at my univeristy only to figure out that he is also going there. i was shocked, confused and surprised since i knew that my folks would take it hard. lately we have gotten back together with out telling either of our families and last night i told my mom that i ran into him and that we had lunch. she was disappointed in me since my bf at one point would not tell me the place he was attending and would call home. later on i called my sis and she also gave me the same lecture as my mom and how i have no self respect and so forth to which i replied that i do have self respect to which i cursed her out. i have no people believing in me nor what i do and think that this guy is bad news just from looking from the outside of matters. can someone plz give some advice?
