You can bleed throughout a pregnancy, but it's not a period. A period only occurs when the egg is not fertilized and then it along with the uterus lining is disposed of. You'll hear many women refer to having periods when pregnant, but it's not really a period.

I've read that is possible to have a period while you're pregnant. I've also heard people say that they've had a period up to 6 months and they were pregnant.

It may be possible in rare cases but the first sign of being pregnant is not having a period.

anything is possible and Yes Im sure of this. My sister didnt even know she was pregnant because she had a period up until her 5th month.

No-the periods indicate shedding of uterine wall and the foetus implants itself on the uterine wall. A shedding wall cant hold on to a foetus so its a kind of improbable situation. the moment pregnancy initiates the periods are supposed to stop under normal circumstances

yes my friend had her period when she was pregnant but she didnt bleed normal it wasnt heavy but she still had one every month. a doctor said that usaly if the parant had her period when she was pregnant then the child might have a higher chance of her getting her period. are you pregnant?? or you r not sure??

Yep, I'm living proof. My mom had her while pregnant with more. I think she said for 2-3 month she had her period.
