Why is it when I wear darkened, mirror sunglasses that hide my eyes, I feel absolutely no shame, shyness or self consciousness?

When I put snglasses on, I look people directly in the eye and say whatever I want to say to them and they get nervous (touching their faces, covering blemishes etc.)

However, when I take the glasses off, all the sudden I have trouble looking people in the eyes and I feel self conscious?

Must be the season... The invitation to my partner (of 5 years) daughters wedding arrived today there were actually (2) in the envelope. In her handwriting they were addressed to "Joe Blogs and partner" and "Joe Blogs and Friend". I am very hurt and not quiet sure how to approach my partner about this, he has his daughter on such a high pedistal you almost need a ladder. I was reading a previous question on if this was rude or not, not only do I think it is rude it is very hurtful. Maybe she is trying to tell me something

this year my 7 year old has been going though a lot. he is seeing his father that he has been around full time till a year ago like once a week. a child who was student of the month last year is getting in trouble everyday in school to where i took him to his pediatrican. well he seems to think my son has bi polar and add and a mood disorder and he has my son on clonidine(sp), ritilan, and depakote and suggests that i take hiom to the hospital to be evaluated. i am not sure what to do.i do think my son may have ADD because he does have difficulty being still and concentrating, but i feel him not seeing his dad is eti\ating at him and he is taking it out on me? i am also bipolar and i was just diagnosed 3 months ago and i dnt want my son to become dependant on meds...any advice would be appreciated.........

This is probably going to sound stupid but i just want some advice. A friend of mine and myself lost some contact over the past year we started talking again about two weeks ago. She is going through a rough time right now she was just seperated from her husband. She called me cause she needed some help with watching her children. She suggested we catch up and have movie night at her house. Two weeks has passed and i have not heard from her. I phoned her yesterday and left a message just telling her i was just saying hello and if she needed help with anything to call and also if she still wanted a movie night. I have not heard back from her about that yet and im wondering if i should call again in a few days or just let it go and wait to see if she calls me. It almost seems like she just calls if she needs something. any advice appreciated

I can only remember parts of the chorus. It was a killer song, but I haven't heard it in years. The end of the chorus is something like "Say it doesn't matter, nothing else matters". There's also something in the chorus talking about the place where the water runs and something involving the words "the land of the rising sun." Some help on this would be greatly appreciated.
