heh heh... you just made me chuckle. I wish I had a nickel for every time I've been threatened with hell (for being non-Christian) from someone wearing a satisfied smile.

i stumble upon position of start safe practices's answer to be an unloving reaction. for sure, i did not examine the unique question both. There are all kinds of people. you may actually profess faith in Christ and nevertheless be propose regrettably. Christianity calls believers to love, yet it truly is not any longer continuously the reaction you'll get carry of. Christians have loose will for sturdy or for evil because with out determination lets all basically be the brainwashed automatons I frequently see us characterised as on those forums.

If they enjoy other people going to Hell then they should NEVER call themselves a Christian.

Just the mere thought of people going to Hell should bring us to tears. The whole reason for our Lord and Savior coming to Earth and dieing that horrible death is so people do not have to go to Hell, and it breaks His heart every time someone who has rejected Him dies.

If you think people going to Hell is a joke or you delight in it in any way, you need to repent, get right with God, and ask him make the things that break His heart break yours.

Choose you this day who you will serve.
As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

I don't. I hate to see people go to hell. That's why Christians need to be better examples and let people know there is a heaven and hell, and in order to escape eternal death and suffering we must make Jesus the lord of our lives.

P.S. Escaping hell shouldn't be the only reason we ask Jesus in our heart. It should be because we love him for doing what he did (dying for us after taking a really bad beating so we can be with him in heaven).

I'm not sure why any Christian would say that, but I don't know of any Christian who would feel that way. Either you are talking to a troll or someone who just doesn't understand Christian principles.

True Christians care about people, and our personal ethics is that we don't want harm to come to other people. For us, not becoming a Christian means spending an eternity, not just a lifetime, in a horrible place (hell). And we don't want anyone to go there. For me, I don't want to push, but at the same time, if there is a way that I can help someone see how being in a committed relationship with God not only helps them in their daily life, but also for their eternal life, I want to help that person convert.

My pastor says it best, we don't want to force anyone to join, but we want to be open to sharing the news to those who are willing to hear it.

On this website, we don't know you or what you are going through, so it's hard to know when to share and when to keep silent.

While you may or may not want to hear it, perhaps someone else who reads the post will

I have to go back to a friend of mine. She was killed in a car accident on the way to work at 9 in the morning by a drunk driver who went past a stop sign without stopping. She had just dropped off her 7 month old son at the daycare. I often wonder if anyone had reached her or if she died without knowing Christ and a relationship with God. I don't want to see anyone else unsure of where they stand on eternity.

In summary, I can't make a decision for anyone else on this, and if they choose to not accept a relationship with Jesus as their Lord and savior I have to realize what God teaches me. Starting back in Genesis, God gave Adam and Eve a choice, and He still gives that choice. He doesn't want anyone to be away from Him and he only wants those people with him who want to spend time with him. After all, heaven is God's home.

If Christians were happy to think that others would go to hell, not one Christian would ever tell anyone about Jesus Christ and salvation. They would keep it to themselves.

"God is not willing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance". The Christians I know, have the same heart as God on this matter.

I know what you mean... I can't tell you how many jokes I heard in church about people going to hell. If they're message was truth it looks like to me they're hearts would be broken over the thought of others going there.

If there are any Christians that entertain that thought then I don't consider them to be Christ like at all.

Typical that so many people talk about other people because of what they believe in. Believe it or not, every christian is not a hypocrite. Everyone sounds so snobby, almost that they're jealous that they can't be christ like.

Everyone has a 'dark side'. This is how Christians allow that part of their nature to emerge.

allmuppetcaligula,
I would say that I do at times. It depends on the arguement facing me. Does that make me a sinner? I guess. But I can sin better than that!
