I get extremely frustrated when people ask me when I am going to propose to my girlfriend. When strangers ask me I even get angry. When my girlfriend asks me when we are going to get married, I don't want to talk about it. I love my girlfriend, but I feel that this is something that I, and I alone should have control over. I have dated my girlfriend for 4 years, and I do want to marry her, but I feel like it should just come to me when the time is right to ask her to marry me, not because someone tells me to or because I feel like I should crap or get off of the pot. Is it weird that I feel this way? Should I just give in and ask her now? Is there such a thing as it just feeling like the right time? What do you other guys think? I am getting to the point where I feel like the bad guy because I have not asked her yet. I can't explain to her why, and she just doesn't understand why I haven't yet.

A proper man met a beautiful girl and agreed to
spend the night with her for $500. So they did,
and before he left, he told her that he did not
have any cash with him, but that he would have
his secretary write a check and mail it to her,
calling the payment "RENT FOR APARTMENT." On the
way to the office he regretted what he had done,
realizing that the whole event was not worth the
price. So he had his secretary send a check for
$250 and enclosed the following note:

Dear Madam,
Enclosed find a check in the amount of $250 for
rent of your apartment. I am not sending the
amount agreed upon, because when I rented the
apartment, I was under the impression that:
1) it had never been occupied;
2) that there was plenty of heat;
3) that it was small enough to make me cozy and
at home. Last night, however, I found out that it
had been previously occupied, that there wasn't
any heat, and that it was entirely too large.

Upon receipt of the note, the girl immediately
returned the check for $250.00 with the following
note:

Dear Sir:
First of all, I cannot understand how you expect
a beautiful apartment to remain unoccupied
indefinitely. As for the heat, there is plenty of
it, if you know how to turn it on. Regarding the
space, the apartment is indeed of regular size,
but if you don't have enough furniture to fill
it, please do not blame the landlady.

Basically what I am asking is if the bible says it it must be true right? You don't believe some of the stories in the bible are there for the "Moral of the story"? If the bible says it does it mean thats the way you should live your life? Arn't we supposed to look at god, be like him act like him in everything we do? How come people who believe in the bible don't do everything the bible says? Just what they want to do?

I had sex and then started my period the next day. I also had sex two days later while still on my period. Myperiods have not been regular duem to a miscarriage in May. If i am pregnant could i already be feeling naeusus within a week?

In asia, there are many pretty actresses and Lucy Liu is considered kind of not pretty by most chinese people, because she looks very usual for normal chinese. there are so many people who looks like her walking around in Asia but they are not considered attractive. Does western culture consider small eyed asian people attractive? In asia, wide eyed with long eye lush and shap nose are considered more attractive than small eyes. So what's so HOT about Lucy Liu, there are so many HOTTER girls every where in Asia. In the past few weeks, gas prices have dropped in my area from about $2.89 to $2.45. That's almost a 50 cent drop in prices! There is some kind of collusion going on here. Consumers are exercising their monopsony power and driving less to drive down prices. It is predatory. I think we should investigate and prosecute those responsible. We should implement mileage controls, a minimum mileage everyone must drive every day.

It is the greed of the consumers doing this, who would rather hoard their money away than spend it on gas. Don't they know that there are families that depend on the income that their job in the oil industry provides? How will the oil rig worker's kids go to college?

This is criminal. People should be punish. We should pass a tax on savings accounts, and print more money to increase inflation to encourage spending to that the greedy don't get away with this.
