Do women prefer an aggressive guy to a shy guy?

Speaking as a woman, I don't. I like someone who is confident, knows what he wants and where he is going. Is respectful, thoughtful, caring, loving, fun loving and treats me like a lady should be treated. Been married to him for 26 yrs.

Sadly sometimes the shy guy become unnoticed ... I really don't care for the overly aggressive men and tend to avoid them. I do like a guy with some confidence in himself.. able to take charge as well

yeah, in my experience I've found that women don't really like the arrogant guys, but at least they're up forn about what they want. Women are usually looking for the guy who's confident, without being brash.

But, just remember that this will not apply to all women, each woman is different, and the only way to know is by coming right out with it and asking her.

an aggressive guy might want to be shy yet you do not see it till later, he can look layed back and is not any longer. I had a relationship with a guy who replaced into smooth-spoken and appeared shy, once i replaced into in contact , he replaced into very aggressive and pushy. i do not imagine there are shortcuts, you basically might want to discover out the guy's personality

What funny ideas will enter these women's head one cannot predict. By the way, a fellow who is aggressive in public could be puny and a seemingly shy one could be aggressive where it matters to her privately.

I prefer the guy to be a combination, but if I had to choose I would pick aggressive simply because I don't like wimps.

Depends on the woman.... but as a woman I can tell you this... all guys are screwed no matter what. We want everything... Let me explain...

We want a manly guy... but still connected to his feminine side. We want him to be funny... but to know when to be serious.
We want him to respect woman... but a little macho at moment.
We want a guy in touch with his emotions... but not a crybaby
We want a cute guy... but not too cute that we feel ugly next to him
We want to be the apple of his eye... but we play hard to get!
etc.. etc...

And every woman is different, like a stereo... some like a lot of base, less treble. Some like more macho, less emotions. Every woman is tuned differently.

In other words... there is no answer because women are an unsolvable mistery... and once they get their hands on a guy... they tune him up like they like it (whipped!)

As for myself... I would go for a more aggressive type... it shows confidence! I like it (but than again... my boyfriend is that shy type so...)

It depends on what kind of person you are. If your the shy one then maybe you need someone who's gonna take charge, but if your the aggressive one then maybe you need someone who's shy. They say opposites attract. Good Luck

for me, a shy guy, but it all depends on the woman. If she's aggressive then she'd want the same back. I normally don't talk to guys cause i'm shy. But if i know a guy who is shy then i know he feels the same giddyness i do. :p
