Toronto: southbound?

I live in the Markham area..which way is the fastest to travel southbound on weekdays?

As a truck driver i would take rte. 48 south do not take the 404.
Then if you going west i don't no where you going but you can take eglinton ave.(11a) or you can take Kingston road (2).
I don't no where you going.
