I and my 24-year old girlfriend were in restaurant. She was chewing a gum. She told me that to swallow a chewing gum isn't dangerous at all because it goes in her stomach and then comes out and laughed. Then she took her chewing gum back to her throat and made a gulp and swallowed her chewing gum. The gum slided down her throat and was gone . . . She told me that she swallowed her gum whole, it was in her stomach and couldn't feel anymore. She laughed and said that the chewing gum is in her tummy now. She told me not to worry about it and added that she likes to swallow cherry pits and sometimes when she is on a lazy mood and don't want to take a cherry pit out she simply swallows it and sends to her stomach so there is no need to find a place for a cherry pit . . . She even don't have a stomachache . . .What will happen to the chewing gum or the cherry pit in my girlfriend's stomach? How much time will it be harmlessly in her tummy? When will she begin digesting it?

I have a leak every time my laundry tub drains to the sewer pipe (metal). It leaks from the joint on the top part of the t joining the pipe (metal) coming over from the tub and the vertical sewer pipe. I assume it's leaking as the water rises above the joint if the drainage is slow.


First, is the fact that water is rising above the joint concerning? And second, should I just use an epoxy around the joint, or do I need to take apart the pipe and round it with teflon tape, etc.

Hi … my friend and I are looking to go travelling... both young professionals girls.. Instead of taking time out of our jobs we are hoping to do small trips over the year/s around the world …or at least half way, because we are looking to do long week end trips it would be pointless to go too far…. Iceland is my first choice … I really want to see the geysers and hot springs… so type of things like that .. Any ideas? X

Man is driving his wife at a steady 40 mph along a highway, when, out of the blue his wife says "I want a divorce".
The man says nothing, keeps looking at the road ahead, but slowly increases speed to 50 mph.
"Dont try to talk me out of it. I am sick of you and I have been having an affair with your best friend and he's much better in bed than you ever were"
The man stays quiet but grips the steering wheel tightly and slowly increases to 60 mph.
" I'm taking the house and the car"
Speed increases to 70 mph.
"I'm also taking the bank accounts, credit cards and the boat"
Up to 80 mph
This now makes her nervous and she shouts " Cant you say something? Isn't there ANYTHING you want?"
"No he replies -- I've got everything I need"
"Really ---- and just what have you got, you loser -- I'm taking everything"

Just before they slam into the wall of a massive concrete bridge at 80 mph, he looks at her and says,
