As widely reported across the internet a few years ago what do you think about Pat Robertson and the Zaire Dictator Mobutu Seko(a murderous thug) diamond connection?

Pat Robertson began begging for donations for 3 new planes to benefit Operation Blessing in 1994 for humanitarian assistance in Africa. Specifically to remove refugees and provide medical assistance.

At the same time Pat began a company called "African Development Company". The development was basically for mining-specifically diamonds, timber, etc. For two years these Operation Blessing planes were used almost exclusivley for Pat's company, NOT for Operation Blessing!! It made Pat millions. No refugees were removed.

A criminal investigation followed in Virgina, and ended with slap on the wrists. Dictator Mobutu, who's responsible for killing thousands, finally died, after making a fortune with Robertson.

My question....WHY WOULD PAT DO BUSINESS WITH A DICTATOR LIKE MOBUTU?

Having believed that Cuba & America were 'sworn enemies', and Cuba was a communist state (that believed everyone should be equal, and treated the same, etc) why do they allow America to run and operate 'Guantanamo Bay' which basically goes against everything Cuba believes in.

I sat down, had a steaming hot towel put on my face and then - well, I don't want to talk about it, but it wasn't much fun. I couldn't see clearly while all of this was going on, so I need your help. There were at least four people in the room - two characters from the Andy Griffith show, the barber himself, and one other guy.

Now, I'm pretty sure this other guy tied me to the chair.
