As widely reported across the internet a few years ago what do you think about Pat Robertson and the Zaire Dictator Mobutu Seko(a murderous thug) diamond connection?

Pat Robertson began begging for donations for 3 new planes to benefit Operation Blessing in 1994 for humanitarian assistance in Africa. Specifically to remove refugees and provide medical assistance.

At the same time Pat began a company called "African Development Company". The development was basically for mining-specifically diamonds, timber, etc. For two years these Operation Blessing planes were used almost exclusivley for Pat's company, NOT for Operation Blessing!! It made Pat millions. No refugees were removed.

A criminal investigation followed in Virgina, and ended with slap on the wrists. Dictator Mobutu, who's responsible for killing thousands, finally died, after making a fortune with Robertson.

My question....WHY WOULD PAT DO BUSINESS WITH A DICTATOR LIKE MOBUTU?

Pat Robertson is a lawyer by education (as is his worthless son).

He discovered that it is easier to swindle old people out of their life savings from a pulpit than a courtroom.

He is also friends & business associates with Charles Taylor, former dictator of Liberia, currently on trial for war crimes.

Jesus Christ hated the pharasees for their wickedness while claiming to be representatives of God.
It's no different today. The world is full of false christian religious leaders.
Just as the pharasees got their due reward so will the present ones.

The following applys to us all, but Jesus was directing to the Pharasees when he was saying it.

Mat 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Mat 15:15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.
Mat 15:16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
Mat 15:17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
Mat 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
Mat 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
Mat 15:20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven

Pat definitely needs to shut up and get off the air. He is an embarrasment to Christianity.

And Pat has not refuted these allegations. His supporters of course suggest people have a grudge when they expose him.

Assuming the info is true I am just resign to the fact people like him with persuasive talent prefer to use it against God for the sake of material wealth. I can't hate and curse this man because it won't do good for me either. Let him continue do what he does. He will one day have his day in wherever that might be appropriate for him.

Religion is the ultimate con. It is government protected, tax free and the product they sell doesn't have to be delivered until you reach a place that doesn't exist. Little wonder so many people jump on this manured money wagon.

wow

Is there ANY religious leader that you aren't bitter towards??

Your article all look like they are written by someone holding a grudge against these men. This was never reported on the news and those liberal news people absolutely LOVE this stuff. So that tells me that much of this is made up and/or exaggerated.

He must be a sinful human being--but it is not for me to judge. Just because someone says they love God--it doesn't necessarily mean they do.
