Each state has requirements for food that is served in childcare centers. For example they are required to serve so much whole milk, vegetables, fruit, meat, and grains. They may not serve koolaid only 100% juice, whole milk, or water. Any food allergies should be posted in the kitchen that the meals are being prepared in. The state regulates all of this in licensed centers.
